I ordered from Amazon.de as well, because I was a bit afraid the Dutch stores would not get it and it would be sold out. I can't cancel it though, since I ordered it with gift cards. I sent their support a e-mail about the localisation a few days ago, this was the response so far:Hm. since the artbook was mentioned, now Im interested aswell if everything in the CE will be in german here. I pre-ordered the CE and it would be interesting to know if the artbook and so on will be translated. Doing this for a 200 page book can be quite the amount of work. Some of my games have all their stuff (package, booklet) either in german only, or multiple languages at once on it. Dont know if CDPR will make the effort to have the packaging and everything in it, in the specific language of each country the CE is being sold. Would be nice if someone from the team could clarify how it will be (I dont think that the stores selling the CE know this as of now)
And for me, even if it is German, it would not bother me too much because I can read it quite well, but I prefer English. As for a possible localisation I have reached out to CD Project Red (developer) as well as Bandai Namco (publisher) for comment on the possibility of localized versions of the artbook and further content of the collector's edition.
I expect to receive an answer within 5 business days and will inform you about the outcome promptly.
The game itself will support full voiceover and subtitles for the following languages: English, Polish, French, German, Japanese, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese
Additionally, the following languages will be supported as subtitles: Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Traditional Chinese, Czech, Hungarian, Latin America Spanish and Korean.
I will get back to you as soon as possible, when I have received a comment from either CD Project Red or Bandai Namco.
Note: In case the content does come in a localized version, there is no way for us to provide you with an english version of the game.
Yipee, this may mean that those of us whose countries don't have the ability to preorder may be able to soon!I ordered from Amazon.de as well, because I was a bit afraid the Dutch stores would not get it and it would be sold out. After some previous comments in this thread however I checked some German unboxing videos of TW2 CE, and they do have a localised items in them. So I expect the amazon support guy to tell me that it will be localised soon.
Hey Zero,Can someone tell me how reliable is game.co.uk?
I wanted to get the CE from Amazon but by the time I got to preordering they didn't have it any more ( I am talking about the PC version).
So I preordered from game.co.uk, but I am worried a little since one time they canceled my preorder without notice on the day of shipping.
I preordered the Rome II Collector's Edition from Game UK and was informed that my preorder was cancelled a week before the release date. The reason was that they can't afford to ship the item to Canada due to the size of the CE. I think they're more reliable if you're shopping as a UK resident. Can someone tell me how reliable is game.co.uk?

Thats shitty, and confusing; they usually ship by weight, not size.I preordered the Rome II Collector's Edition from Game UK and was informed that my preorder was cancelled a week before the release date. $230? damn man, mine'll cost me 175Ish! I ordered it from Gamestop as well.View attachment 4240
I asked an old friend of mine in the US to pre-order the CE from gamestop. it's going to cost me more than 230$ with shipping; but the temptation was too damn much !
I must say that TW3 is the only CE in the world that I'd love to have. so its final price doesn't really matter.
thank you CDPR
170$ (CE + tax + shipping method) in the US and about 60$ for shipping it to half a world away.$230? damn man, mine'll cost me 175Ish! I ordered it from Gamestop as well.
I didn't order from Amazon.co.uk, but from Amazon.de, and I also used gift cards (Most people in The Netherlands don't use credit cards, including me). It worked fine, but you cannot get a refund.I have a couple of questions for anyone who has ordered games from Amazon UK - does anyone know if there is any problem paying for games using Amazon gift cards, and roughly when do they take the payment?
I've just realised that there's a high chance that when they're ready to ship, my card will be rejected, my bank has a ridiculously low daily limit for Internet transactions, and I don't trust them to honour any request I make for the limit to be increased.
I'm thinking of buying myself gift cards when it gets closer to the time, so that I can avoid any last-minute problems.
OK. So if I change my payment method in the final month from CC to Gift Card, I should be safe? I'm prepared to take the risk of them cancelling the pre-order and leaving me stuck with the credit balance, as long as it's fairly late in the process. I don't need to have the game from them on day one.I didn't order from Amazon.co.uk, but from Amazon.de, and I also used gift cards (Most people in The Netherlands don't use credit cards, including me). Edit: well technically you can, but it will be in your gift card balance, which you cannot transfer back to your bank account, you'll have to spend it on amazon...
UK resident here, but unfortunately all I can inform you about is that payment is taken just before it is shipped. I haven't used a gift card before on amazon.I have a couple of questions for anyone who has ordered games from Amazon UK - does anyone know if there is any problem paying for games using Amazon gift cards, and roughly when do they take the payment?
