PC version is out of stock again, they seem to go super quick, must only be a select few from people who cancel orders or something, X1 is still available though.yeah!!
game.co.uk are annoying. cancelled order from them completely, not using them again until they change their systems for failed payment and auto order cancel.

ordered from amazon instead. it says available again. was on briefly yeaterday, then said 'click here for email updates about availability' and now its back in stock.

So, the story is that I pre-ordered the collector's edition (PC version) of Witcher 3 last year in September through a store in my country (Romania). Today I got a call from them, telling me that the distributor won't ship this version of the game anymore for an unknown reason, but they offered a cheaper alternative of the same game, the D1 version (http://www.mediagalaxy.ro/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt-d1-edition-pc). I contacted CDPR on Facebook, Google+ and received no answer. I even wrote a pm to a moderator, but since he is not a CDPR employee, the chances of getting an official answer are slim to none.
If anyone from CD Project Red is reading this post, I would like to know the reason, because to say that I'm disappointed and angry would be an understatement...

ohhh well thats sucks .. i am sorry for you. but i realy think it sounds strange what they said to you.. there should be no reasons why your country should be excluded ... sounds to me more like they forgot to order that edition =( maybe to few orderd that ? i only can guess and i feel this one could be hard to awnser since its the sales deparment that is responsible for that and not the game developers. i wish you the best luck and hope you can at least enoy the game ... alternative would be pre order it from amazone if they still have some editions left.
This isn't an official answer of course, because I'm not staff, but the reason given by the store sounds like they're just making excuses and trying to blame someone else.
My guess is that this is one of two things
- They had ordered a certain number, but sold MORE than that in the expectation that some would cancel. They didn't get as many cancellations as they had expected, so now they don't have enough.
- They ordered through indirect means (grey market?) and whoever they were buying from backed out.

Do we all get boxes signed by the creative team or was that just for the lucky beggar whose unboxing video I happened to watch?
Yeah, sure. Though it would be nice to get an official answer from CDPR themselves....
I'm sorry, I know this must be disappointing, but this really isn't anything that CDPR can do anything about. Your post has been merged into a larger thread about CE availability - if you look back through the last few pages, you'll see that retailers around the world promise something to their customers and then, for whatever reason, back out. All you can really do is look elsewhere.
I was afraid of the same thing so I preordered from amazon.co.uk. I noticed too that the CE dissapeared from Romanian market
CDPR has no involvment in this - try to find it somewhere else = european gaming e-shops.
At least the places I checked here were being honest about it. "No promises on availability, no promise on when you'd get it, but if you want to pre-order, we require a deposit".

Question to those, who ordered CE from Game.co.uk to outside of United Kingdom, did you get tracking number for courier service in the email about it being dispatched? I dont have anything else except my order number and quite plain text in my profile that it has been shipped. Basically, I can only guess where it is/is not now.
While it's not entirely what you asked, everyone I know that's ordered the CE within the UK from Game are in the same boat, no tracking info at all and the email just links back to your order on the website which has no tracking info either. Mine apparently dispatched on Wednesday and I've got no clue where it is.
To clarify my position on my CE pre-order. I'm also in the UK and also pre-ordered from GAME, and yes also got it dispatched on Wednesday and yes I'm still waiting for it to arrive.
I got an email on day of dispatch giving me my order number, but not tracking number, and the delivery time was meant to be 1-2 working days (so today I was meant to get it). So I'm hoping it arrives tomorrow, I'm led to believe the game will arrive in a Parcel Force van so keep an eye out for that tomorrow morning!
