139€ can seem a little bit pricey for sure, but I rather spend 139€ on a game I'm sure will be worth every penny and keep me busy for a hundred hours, than buying 3 games from studios which will require me to get multiple DLCs to get the full experience and that I'll find boring after playing 20 hours.
If you do the math, it's really not that costly after all, and it's a good way to show CDPR your support.
Sure, the problem is my budget.
I have to get a new rig just for TW3 which will cost me around 800 € already and I'm a student so I don't have all the money in the world.
The most expensive Collectors Edition I have seen so far (before TW3) did cost ~80 €.
Hell, I would buy the CE of TW3 even for 100 € because I 100% support CDPR.
The problem is once you get as high as 140 € (~ 3 times the price of a normal PC game) I can't keep up, especially if I have to upgrade my PC as well.
Wow the price on amazon.co.uk was 94£ two days ago, now it's 129£ oO Happy I ordered it right away.
That's just damn unfair. I would have ordered it for 94 £.....
I hope the price drops. If it does I'm the first to order it.
^ Oh, some on, you really mind the price for a CE, of witcher 3 ? I know from UK its really pricey, but on amazon, if the price drops for the collectors edition, when the game will be in stock, you will pay less, than you pre-ordered it from...
The problem is not that I mind the price, the problem is I simply can't afford it.
Which equates to approx $65-$70 [or ~30%]. Which is a massive bump in price
Wonder if amazon cooked that up when they got wind of the hype.
I just can't imagine the content of the CE does cost enough to justify such a high price, but wth do I know.
The only hope that remains for me is that it gets a little cheaper so I can afford it.
Would even throw the other games I wanted to buy out of my list if I could afford that.
