I don't think Amazon does that. You could always cross-reference the cost with other retailers [within the UK].
I preordered Witcher 3 at Gamestop as soon I was able to, and updated that preorder to Collector's Edition as soon as I could. It's PC for me.
EDIT: By the way, I searched the thread and found nothing regarding the discount mentioned by CDPR. How will this be handled if you own both Witcher games? Not that I don't gladly pay full prize for Witcher 3, of course I will, but I'm curious. And how great isn't it of CDPR to make such an offer? I love you devs! Yes I do! :thumbsup: :respect:

Because I for one really hope you're wrong in this. :hope: I have a receipt of booking the Collector's Edition so I'm pretty sure that you are wrong. If you're right however...I shudder the thought to be honest.

Hmm, it just dawned on me. CDP.pl, where I pre-ordered my CE, assures that everyone will get their games at the latest on 24.02. So, since there isn't any DRM, there is the chance that if I get my package earlier, I will be able to play the game a couple of days earlier :geek:

When choosing your country as Finland, Sweden or Denmark it gives you CDON, Webhallen, and Gamestop as stores where you can pre-order CE. None of them have it listed. Norway has Gamezone.no (http://gamezone.no/WebPages/Produkt/ProduktInfo.aspx?plid=52161&WebSiteMapNodeID=1001005) where its available for pre-order.
Yeah, I also noticed that, ergo I actually went to the nearest Gamestop store and had it verified, but they had no trouble preordering my copy of collector's edition. And that's exactly what I'm counting on to receive come February 2015.
Online though you are right, so they either need to update their info saying that they won't have it available, or look over their faulty(missing) links asap.
I understand if people get a little frustrated. Hell, on Monday I'll probably verify my preorder again just to be sure.
Yes I would really like to know as well, already ordered with gift cards (dont have creditcard) so no money back probably, but I would really prefer an English artbook
Meanwhile the Dutch stores don't have anything yet. Freaking distributor. First they screw CDPR over with a court case, leave out the Netherlands for TW 2 and now they're being lazy asses. They could have about 10 million potential buyers. I mean i know the collector's edition is not available world wide but if my country is one of the first enlisted countries when buy.thewitcher.com was launched, then that's depressing. I mean E3 is right around the corner and the stores never received word from Namco Bandai. I know I'm nagging. But it was promised from the start. =(

You must remember, for those who bought CE versions and have X day shipping on them, TRADITIONALLY, most retails stores base the delivery date on the shipping timeframe plus the day the game is released. But it stands to reason that the product will be available for shipping well before that, allowing the product to actually be delivered on (or before) that date.
Now, if it WAS delivered before the release date, the game may require an online activation (not really considered DRM), and CDPR could disable all activations until a universal point in time. I bought the CE version with 2-day shipping from Amazon for $150USD. Hopefully the game will arrive earlier; It's nice to have the physical media, even though I would only (by relent) have a DVD-ROM in my new PC), but I DO hope for some kind of option where we can preload and play on Day 1, despite the delivery status of the CE.

I can say I do have the intention to pre-order the CE, but I need some advice =P. I live in Brazil and I am thinking to pre-order at gamestop, anyone can say if they are relliable / carefull or any information? It is quite a lot of money after all, don't whant to get tricked or get a half product/ broken, so I am kinda worried =P.
