The Witcher 3:Enhanced Edition
New difficulty/game mode:Witcher mode:
Hunger,thirst and fatigue:
Food can no longer be consumed on combat;
Hunger affects life regeneration,a well fed Geralt will have passive regen out of combat.Being hungry debuffs his ability to regenerate: out of combat by decreasing greatly the amount of hp recovered upon resting,and in combat by slowing greatly the effect of potions that regenerates hp;
Being thirsty makes vigour regeneration slower.drinking water,milk,juice and etc makes it regenerate faster;
Tiredness lowers maximum hp,vigour,damage,armor and toxicity.Geralt can meditate any time but can rest only on taverns (costs money but recovers all his energy;recovers hp based on hunger level),campfires (recovers only half energy) or on friends houses (like Dandelion's brothel or Kaer Morhen).New skill points can be set anytime but are only applied upon resting;
Potions:
Potions and oils require Geralt to meditate before using,just like on The witcher 2.However,potions has much greater duration this way,up to 10,15 or more minutes.Drinking potions and using oils displays animations.
Potions can be drank in combat only after taking a respective skill;drinking it this way reduces greatly potion duration (compared to full duration) but can be used more than one time (just like it works actually).Displays a brief animation where Geralt takes the potion from a pocket and does a fast swig,he is unable to block,attack,cast signs or do the "full dodge" on its duration,so the player must think before drinking in combat.
Combat:
Improved AI,with groups of smarter enemies using tactics (like trying to surround Geralt or strike his back) and the dumber ones being much more savage (like on The Witcher 2 where nekkers and other smaller enemies rushes like maniacs,barely giving you time to react;they are far more hesitant now).And not only group tactics but new individual enemy tactics too,like human enemies ocasionally dodging instead of blocking until his vigor runs out,or faking an attack (making you miss the parry) and doing a kick that gets you stunned,this kind of thing to get the combat even more complex;
Increased enemy damage,reduced life.The game combat feels like meat grinding sometimes,getting multiple blows to kill a single enemy,and enemies too striking Geralt from behind and barely damaging him even with light armor (yes I play on death march).More numerous and deadlier enemies makes the combat more tense and unforgiving,and making them weaker to damage makes it far less boring sometimes.(bigger enemies like golems should have increased damage,enough to hit kill you from behind or get you dead with just 2 blows,but overall they having a lot of hp "make sense")
Overall game changes:
Add dice poker and arm wrestling back please :/
Story persistent prologue.We want to interact with people after everything,and even post endgame side quests,likemore sex with Yen
some contracts along with Eskel or helping Zoltan with something,it would be so nice
Actual bosses,and not regular mobs with a fancy hp bar.Seriously,where are the adrenaline filled,intense and complex boss fights?
Well,that's it.Hope you like it.Leave feedback if possible and,just to mention,the game has it's flaws but THANK YOU PROJEKT RED,it is still awesome,a real masterpiece.There is a lot of things that could get better but don't get me wrong,it is still an immense pleasure to play it ^^
