The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project by Halk Hogan PL

+
You see something like this in the changelog? :)
Currently, I don't know how to fix it (I'm waiting for an answer from CDPR).

It's fine. I just deleted your roof textures so my roofs match and don't change colors. Thanks for the update. Looking forward to your new textures.

News

Hello!
Once upon a time there was no news, but today I have something: :)

I was about to ask if there is any news recently, I guess thats it! Looks nice, just wondering if you are going to increase the lod? Thanks for your fantastic work!

Noice, I check in every day for any updates. Are these changes in the patch 2.2 on nexus mods? Or will you introduce them in a new patch?

Also, how do you create these new textures? Are there some guides you can direct me to?

Thank you for your work. I have a feeling that by the time you are done with this, the game will look nothing short of spectacular.

New Stone Borders

Hello again! :)

The work going forward. ;)

Next screen comparisons with Stone Borders.

Better? :)

Thank you! Generally, all reworked by me models have my made LOD (little more detailed comparing to original) so that there was no drop in performance. ;)

These changes will only be in the next update (when will be release - I don't know).
Too much to explain. You need look some guides on (is so much in internet) and most importantly - a lot of practice.
Thank you very much! :)

Cheers as always - Halk

This is stunning :O How long did it take you to remodel, for example, this stone wall or pine trees? it looks like A LOT of work
Also, are you planning to do something about hay roofs on the villager houses? That and bricks need the most love IMO

Keep up the good work man!

Can't test it just now, but is this also compatible with 1.11? don't wanna update to 1.12 just yet since a lot of my mods won't work anymore.

Yes, Mezziaz is right. This small rock just looks too bad in comparison to great work by Halk Hogan. But I'm afraid that this change would impact performance much more then rock we saw so far.

But without big performance drops Halk Hogan can improve quality of wood on huts. These textures are just horrible - it's like game from times when we had first 3Dfx Voodoo cards.

Yeah I think the large surfaces like walls above should have the highest priority since they would make the biggest impact. These low res large surfaces are such an eye sore.

THANKS TO NVIDIA AND KEOKI!

Hello!
I have good news:
I got the new GTX 980Ti from NVIDIA!! :D THANKS VERY VERY MUCH TO NVIDIA AND KEOKI YOUNG!!! Please, give thanks to them too! :)
I finally get to enjoy The Witcher 3 at 60 fps on uber. :D:p

Yes, it's a lot of work to make this. :)
Hay roofs maybe later, bricks too. ;)
Thanks!
Thank you for all your great work, Halk. :) This could evolve into a huge project. Keep it up!
Thank you! Of course I'm going to expand this to a very large project. :)

Great work as Always..simple question..is your mod compatible with the increase lod one? http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/949/?

I've got a conflict advise with script merger but it seems to me that both mods works fine...??
Generally it should work, but I don't recommend the use of both.

Will you rework some ground textures? They could need a rework.
So far, for now I focus on models. Terrain textures etc. I'm going to reworked later (if need be). ;)

Can't test it just now, but is this also compatible with 1.11? don't wanna update to 1.12 just yet since a lot of my mods won't work anymore.
Yes, you must have 1.11 or 1.12 game version. :)

What bother me the most are the tiny rocks on the ground such as these.

Would love seeing them getting the HD treatment as well.
I saw these rocks, and I think that soon I'll take care of them. :)

No, this change should not unduly affect performance. ;)
Yes, I had already planned to improve the texture of huts wood. Maybe soon I can get a good result. :)

Yeah I think the large surfaces like walls above should have the highest priority since they would make the biggest impact. These low res large surfaces are such an eye sore.
Yes, but it isn't so easy. For now I'm rework these things, which I am able to easy rework. The more difficult things for me I'm going to rework in future. :)

To improve overall quality of textures don't forget to tweak user.settings file with adding lines:
[Streaming/Textures]
UseMipRefiner=true

Thanks to @Asmodean778

@HalkHoganPL you're rather aware of that bug, but here's short video about bad LoD, it happens to all types of your rocks :(

Thank you! I didn't know about it. :)
Yes, I did some wrong displacement and LOD and soon I'm going to improve these rocks and rework rest of the rocks.

Thanks and Regards, Halk :)
