LOD was bad express from me. What I ment is the lower quality textures being swapped while you are getting away from them, in this case the tress you can see on top of the hill in my picture. My question is if it is possible to make it look better.

As you can see I'm noob in this :D and couldn't find better words to describe this.

Foliage is handled by speedtree i don't think you can edit those assets. As far as texture swapping goes, for most objects you can just set up negative mip bias. But i'm not sure how it would affect foliage. In general engine-level LOD controls in this game are non-functional. Everything is hardcoded and there seems to be no way to influence global LOD bias. Only way is via editing each mesh file individually which is stupid engine design choice.
 
This LoD could be improved in user.settings. Just increase the value of FoliageDistanceScale to, for example, 2.5 or 3(higher is better).

And if you get a result, that won't satisfy you, you should tweak shadow settings too.

I did this and I can see a huge difference, thank you a lot !
 
I would love to see better textures for the swamp trees

Are you using the ultra vanilla textures for the screenshots? I can´t remember that the textures are so low res...

That's what they look like but this being a third person game and all you rarely see them that up close when actually playing.
