It's not a photoshop, it's old version of REDkit presentation...Are you certain that it isn't photoshoped? There are some things that are out of place. It looks like shadows aren't cast on Geralt at all.
By "those" if you mean screenshots etc then I have a whole thread dedicated to that. You have more of those or a source? Never saw them and they look great already.
I agree, it would be cool to have an animation for the map and bestiary, although I hope they leave the minimap as it is on the screeshot, but maybe give the option of choosing which corner to put it on( though they probably wont).I am definitely pro having a map, that is visually taken out and held in Geralst hands. (Also a book with the monsters, where Geralt can go through the pages.)
yeah but isn't that another reason then to not put the HUD in the upper section? if we are most often looking there, then I'd prefer the HUD to not get in the way of me seeing the game, after all, we can change what we have in the upper part of the screen in the game world by moving the camera, but we cant move around the HUD unfortunately. On the other hand, the top is the place where you will be looking most often and then the left part. That is, why often the most important parts can be found there. Though I wouldn't mind the experimentation to be honest. Greatest would be mabe 2 or 3 presets with customizability.![]()
All maps in TW2 needed so much improvement. The main map was pretty frustrating to navigate even if it looked really pretty.Imo the TW2 mini Map looked really good. The problem was, that it was a irritating cause it had that medival art-style.
Also it was broken. The destination icons for missions were wrong often. They were placed on wrong locations.
When you get old enough to need bifocals, you'll develop an appreciation for user interface layouts that present detailed information below the visual center. On the other hand, the top is the place where you will be looking most often and then the left part. I agree with that definitely. When you get old enough to need bifocals, you'll develop an appreciation for user interface layouts that present detailed information below the visual center.
:look:
Seriously, I agree that user-placeable is ideal, but in its absence, I dislike top-of-screen, and I like the bottom-of-screen suggestion. Because bottom-of-screen is more likely to obscure in-game detail, though, it should auto-fade or auto-hide when not called up.
Well...It would be nice to have certain routes on the map only if we ask info to the villagers firstSince majority of people here would like a non-intrusive HUD, wouldn't it be nice if Geralt had an option to ask villagers/passers-by for directions and POI-s and not always rely on the map.
I'm assuming/hoping that this will be part of the natural "gating" to stop you going to some areas too soon.Well...It would be nice to have certain routes on the map only if we ask info to the villagers first
I'd like to see that again as well, was really nice! =)I miss TW1 medallion that vibrated repeatedly when monsters were near, hope that the one in TW3 will be similar to the old TW1 one.
I hope this too.I'm assuming/hoping that this will be part of the natural "gating" to stop you going to some areas too soon.
