What is your point ? We all have different opinions, and @Dragonbird suggested me to do it. Maybe some moders will like suggestionsnow again?

Why not?snow again?
I really doubt that the modding kit is shipping with the game, they would have said so already. Let's hope it doesn't take too long at leastI really hope that the modding kit comes out right with the game and the modders come out swinging for the fence.
Mods are what has kept skyrim installed on my harddrive years and years after launch. I think that if CDPR implemented some sort of steam workshop equivlant into their game or GOG galaxy mod workshop or something that would make it as easy as one click "install mod" to game so that we don't have to fumble around with downloading and extracting and trying to figure out how to install these mods, that would make it even better.
As far as mod content goes, new story content is always great but with so much of the witcher games being dialogue driven, it may prove difficult to realistically add a lot of that into the game without quality voice actors (not to mention needing Geralt's VA to avoid the silent protagonist treatment)
Visual mods, monster mods, new items, places to explore and just randomly kill stuff like monster killing contracts that take you to a new cave or fort or something like that to explore with new loot would be fun.
Beefing some of the graphics back up to 2013 reveal levels of detail would also be a nice added bonus (increased vegetation, draw distance, LOD, more detailed architecture, etc) but I'm sure that there will be ENB's and stuff like that (hopefully) to perhaps carry it beyond what we were initially shown.
That sunrise is mindbogglingly beautiful.Seems the skybox at least won't be needing much modding, Jose "The God of clouds" Teixeira could not have done a better job. Thank you!

If only we could have seen this happen in the actual game while meditating, which I bet (hope) someone will be able to mod in.![]()
This is not a texture problem but more a question of Paralax and color filter. There is a 2048x2048 texture option in the game and trust me, it would not make sense to go higher than that unless you want to make your rig suffer (I tried 4k textures on skyrim for armors and some shiny stuff and full 2k for the rest and it was perfect with ENB + paralax).Hey, I don't want to create a new subject for that question and I think this is the best place for it.
Is there any chance to see a patch / mod to get back the old foliage textures ? That + a Sweet Fx might bring back the atmosphere I LOVED about the early trailer and game-play videos.
I mean, the "old" textures have been created so they exist. It would be easy for CDPR to give them to those who want to get it.
Well there you are totally wrong as Skyrim has the exact same problem, if anything it's even worse because only the last file is applied, compatibility patches are required to make mods work together if they chamge the same files. The biggest problem to face (imo) with mod creation taking off, for a particular game, is compatibility. (and I'm speaking of instances when it's 'officially' supported here, and tools provided). Other than the type of said game, and the quality of tools, etc.
The Witcher 2's REDKit came out quite a bit after the games' release, of course. But, I don't think that was really the deciding factor as to why mods didn't really take off for it. It was compatibility. Quite a lot of changes made, were modifying the same scripts (player.ws, movable.ws, combat.ws, etc), and it made for a compatibility nightmare lol.
I personally made quite a lot of mods for The Witcher 2, but I never released them to the public (other than a simple one that I did the day I first downloaded REDKit. A really early 0.01 alpha version which simply altered the camera distance),
This was because, I had to consolidate all of my modifications(and there were quite a lot by the time it was finished) into one 'uber' mod, to make it work effectively.
There was unfortunately no feasible way to have muliple mods(excluding texture only ones, ofc), unless by pure chance they were all completely avoiding the same scripts lol.
I wonder if the guys have overcome this problem, this time around. It's easier said than done, though of course.
sure its possible but............its modding........so think bigger ......why not a Old Yennifer Dragon?!!I
For me I'm wondering if its possible to Bring back the Look of the Old Yennifer through Mods?
