Also the crossbow has more impact, and lost the cartoon like effect of the trace lines following the bolts. Geralt is also throwing around some really powerful magic. Might want to consider buying himself a Grey wizard hat.

Yeah, unless you are at the event (and there were events last week in Warsaw & Scotland as well), you will have to be patient and have your mind blown second hand when the invitees reveal what they saw & did. I believe all events were embargoed until Jan 26, but check your favorite websites on the 25th & 26th to see who posts first.
As I sit here in the airport lounge, thank you 2 hour flight delay, I would recommend people temper their expectations.
Not that the game isn't really cool and I truly believe the attendees will have a great time with what they do, but because unfettered expectations almost always lead to disappointment. I know the attendees with be having interviews with the Dev team. I know they'll have 2-3 hours of hands on game time. I don't know if they will be capturing video in game, but I doubt it (not sure of this though) as the team is still bug fixing & optimizing. Releasing new video that potentially could include bugs that are or will be fixed (as the builds would have been made 2 weeks go to be ready for last week's event, bugs may already be fixed), is misleading.
Will the event be cool? Yes. This is the first hands on gameplay for press and, after the embargo lifts, they'll give their opinions on what they play. I am confidant they will love the game, but you will have to wait for their articles, interviews, etc to see what they think.
So, be cautious, be optimistic, be eager. However, also be sensible in your expectations. We have months to go before launch. This is an important event, but it isn't the final Witcher push just yet. Plenty more to come.

Yep, on Twitter. Hard to write great detail in 144 characters or less. But I do think the game IS mindblowing, so that counts, right?
The game will be shown and if some one wants to see it and have ultra high expectations is fine, any one doing whatever any one like. For me i said once i'm waiting the best game on gaming history, if anyone thinks that's crazy or stupid it's not my problem, i control what i think and not stopping or changing anything from what others say.

Same here except you know whats awesome? The FPS is stable, and no micro stuttering. My largest concern has been removed from the game, and that for me is a cause for celebration.
I didn't have such an issue with any game I've played in the past 10 years or so, so I didn't expect that for W3 in the first place. But I'm happy for you that this is out of the way and you can celebrate. Still, a good looking game with a stable framerate is not automatically a fun and satisfying experience...
The game play is beyond any doubt now as I see they have fixed my two greatest gripes with witcher 2. Combat, and the micro stuttering do to not using streaming, but this awkward hard loading for its environments; causing the game to chug every time you walked more than twenty feet in any direction.

No, not really. There is only one situation in which I would really love 30% "better" visuals: if the core of the game and the overall package is already proven to be really great, fun, satisfying and consistent. So far, that's competely open I fear. So I don't care much about the graphics or visuals, sorry. Not at this point. The first moment I will care about the graphics will be when I start the game and it appears to be as entertaining and satisfying as we all hope. If that's not the case I won't care about the graphics at all, not now and not then...
