When the Paint grass mask option is turned on, the tool window disappears and you can no longer do anything. Does anyone have this problem as well?

It doesn't help anything, instead of the whole window with tools there is only a red frame

this might be a bit offtopic but, uh, anyone know how to force redkit to run on dx11? since it literally just crashes on startup due to dx12 just like current patch witcher 3 on dx12 (doesn't crash on dx11 though)
i guess it's probably not possible but if it's somehow possible, please tell me :) (btw my gpu does support DX12 and vulkan)

You have to create it yourself and then select it in the REDkit launcher startup menu. After that just generate the depot. The process can take up to an hour but you'll do this only once.
 
Modding Problem - Vagina's for Everyone (Next-Gen)

I have downloaded the REDkit, extracted game's file, finished the editing with photoshop.

But... anyone know how to pack it as a mod?

Or maybe someone can pack it for me, upload it as the author, I won't mind.

(Compare to the old one, added two DLC's npcs: Syanna and Lady of the Lake.)

Why, when I open some Entity templates, are they empty? For example, I opened geralt_inventory_debug_naked.w2ent, and it was empty.

I'm really sorry to ask, but I happen to accidentally modified 3 files from my depot and don't know how to reload them again from the original game files. I'm freaking out! If anybody would be kind enough to send me those 3 files from his depot, I would be forever thankful!

The three screwed files are :

baron_long_building.w2ent

Found, I think, in :

\REDkit\depot\environment\architecture\human\redania\nomans_land\baron_castle

and

baron_long_building_proxy.w2mesh and baron_long_building_proxy_d.xbm

Found, I think, in :

:\REDkit\depot\environment\textures_entity_proxy


I'm really desperate, I hope someone can help me! Thank you!

In order to make an NPC you'll need: a hefty supply of body parts, voice, animations and a place far away from pitchfork-armed mobs.

OlivierR to recover your accidentally deleted files, you just need to recreate your TW3_Depot.

But if you want to go faster, you'll find 2 of these files here:

baron_long_building_proxy.w2mesh
baron_long_building_proxy_d.xbm

These 2 files must be saved in:

[Your_TW3_Depot]\environment\texture_entity_proxy

Attached to this post is the .zip file containing these 2 files:

However, I couldn't find the file :

in my TW3_Depot :(

Sounds like a combination of scenes and encounters, so have a look at tutorial #7 (around 21st minute) :) If you want to set up stuff like Gwent, then check Mariska demo quest.
