Ehm. Namco Bandai is not the publisher, just a retail distributor. CDPR self publishes and distributes online, while NB distributed boxed copies for PAL and WB for NA.
I dunno. Me personally it's not whether CD Projekt Red lied or not or whether the game IS downgraded or not, or whether the grass doesn't look as good because of the sharpening or the lighting or 10 other debates that are going on around here. For me, it's just that, well I honestly feel it just doesn't look as nice. If we are just going to ignore all the tech talk, or whether assets/engines have changed or colour filters..... whatever....I just don't feel it looks as nice. That's all. I really wanted the game to look as awesome as it looked in the other trailers, as have many people have stated here. I really wanted a game that had amazing innovative visuals with the cool fun gameplay and content that felt fresh and new and that seemed to be what they were offering. But seems like things have shifted and changed in a direction artistically/technically that doesn't wow me as much anymore.
I guess it just sucks. I really wanted that but I guess I ain't getting it. Oh well, let's hope for Cyberpunk, or star citizen, or something else to look freaking mind blowing and have awesome gameplay. Some people may say that I'm not a gamer because I ain't getting the game because of graphical changes I may not like. But honestly I'm all about the whole package, and this package is not fulfilling what I am personally craving anymore. I respect those though that are wanting to play the game when it is coming out, I just hope that you enjoy it and are happy with it and don't get disappointed. Cause it sucks dude, it's like getting coal for christmas.
Hopefully, I got my 2 cents across alright and didn't provoke anyone.

Yes its possible, but in that case they aren't doing a good job previewing spells effects, or effects in general.

I personally would be fine if they made sparks the larger part of all fire effects. The "flame" parts in large fire effects are a bit hazy, and if the engine could handle it, putting in more sparks could probably make a nice "mask".
any new material to chew on? it will keep this thread occupied. BTW a bit off topic , but do you know when game the launch trailer /the next trailer is going to be released.
