I guess some people are used to Ubi, EA and others..."You want Geralt to change his haircut? Sure, for only 1.99$!"Guys, why do you hate free stuff so much? I mean.

So there i was, in TW forums, arguing the bad policy of CA (and others) concerning it's pre-release dlc (and the little content there is in their dlc's altogether) in Total War Rome 2 and now in TW Attila, when i referred the CD project RED and the Witcher as an example of "money isn't everything" concerning the dlc, and remember the Witcher developers opinion that all dlc should be free (concerning the 16 dlc at the witcher 3 release).
Well, i'am sorry but i couldn't disagree with them more. Content that adds little yes it should be free, but for more 5 to 6 hours or more of new content i'am willing to pay yes, €10, €15 even €30 for a proper old fashioned expansion. In the witcher case, i mean quests, adventures, plots, missions, locations, whatever, and that should payed because it's extra work for the developers and that should always be financially supported by the users, but not only. It avoids companies of selling themselves out to the industry tycoons that basically destroy games or games franchises,
That been said, i ask to CD project RED to continue to build dlc/expansions (skyrim style) for the witcher 3, and charge for that extra content, as long is it worth it, use it to develop more content, or Cyberpunk 2077, Witcher 4, Witcher online, whatever, cuz i trust you and i now you let me down.
I already do that and i do feel go for it, thanks! Thanks for your opinion, but as we've announced, the 16 DLCs for The Witcher: Wild Hunt will be free.
If it makes you feel better, donate some money to charity that you feel equals the money you would have spent buying the DLC.![]()
Because i like the games this company produces! That's all. And to survive, companies, like this one, need financial support. Otherwise, like you said, it's Ubi, EA and others! And we know what that means don't we?! We go from 8 to 80. And you will pay 1.99 for the haircut.I guess some people are used to Ubi, EA and others..."You want Geralt to change his haircut? Sure, for only 1.99$!"![]()
Who is that? Where from? I have a nagging feeling I should recognise it, but am drawing a blank.Guys, why do you hate free stuff so much? I mean.

That's Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown from Back to the Future). Although I don't remember the role portrayed in the gif.Who is that? Where from? I have a nagging feeling I should recognise it, but am drawing a blank.

In fact, it is possible to make an easter egg and give Geralt opportunity to sing different songs while traveling, or Dandelion if he is with him. Will have to tell the guys, not a bad idea for DLC.
Having a bard in your entourage isn't always all it's cracked up to be.
:rofl:Having a bard in your entourage isn't always all it's cracked up to be.
Ah, this "Singing DLC" talk remind me of this.
It smelled of an Autumn flame
With a cold wind, flied away the words' sense
It has to be like that, they can't change anything now,
Those diamonds at the ends of your lashes
(Geralt: Keep playing.)
Where you live, it's already white of the snow
Sparkle with ice, those lakes and swamps
It has to be like that, it can't change anything now,
That lurking longing in your eyes.
Spring will return, the rain will drain on the roads
With the warmth of the sun, hearts will warm
It has to be like that, because smoldering inside us keeps fire
Eternal Fire, which is hope.
