I don't mean to be rude Ryanza, but this strikes me as very irrational and more an act against your own benefit, if you are a gamer (not you specifically). The two main factors to weigh in here are:Think about it. People with internet when hearing about day 1 DLC from Ubisoft or EA, will then just not buy the game. I am hoping the same won't happen with The Witcher 3 and people who don't have internet. I want the game to sell really well on release day, not wait for a GOTY edition.

CD Projekt Red for Nobel Peace prize 2014!I have read a lot of gaming news' sites about this .... And I have to say, CD Projekt Red has done the impossible, every single comments' section is full of praise.
hahahahahahaCD Projekt Red for Nobel Peace prize 2014!
I know you're probably being sarcastic here. Famitsu has new screenshots on the PS4 version that look noticeably better than the 35 min demo build. The huge QnA thread is locked and they are collecting questions. This is just a part of the new information we're going to inevitably get about the game.Totally hyped.
Announcing free DLC 4 months before the release of the game?
For new clothes? new beards? new high heels? a new mount?
for free on top of that? I must be dreaming eyes wide open.
Better than having actual news about the game and seeing some footage of it, for sure!
Likely because they won't be ready, they want to deliver a good quality product and not rush the roll out. It's a sign they care about what they're doing.I love you CDPR for free DLCs, but why not instead having them in the main game already like in an add-ons list to enable or not?
Oh thank Melitele I didn't see this when I was eating a ice cream, I'd probably have spat everything around
I think it's a fixation because I fail to see the difference between working on DLC content one day after the game goes gold or one month. But I don't mean to be preaching here. The DLC is fine and it's free. The production of the game is done and they work on DLC, that's all good. I'm am talking about the DLC being released on day 1 of the game being released. If the DLC was released weeks after the game was released then all good. But DLC on the day the game gets released takes the focus off the game and adds DLC to that focus. So from game that anybody can buy to content that not all can get. So day 1 DLC is what I'm talking about.
Any marketing move which respect me as a costumer is pretty fine to me. It's a cattitude often forgotten by many traders/dealers/marketers/businessmenNow this, finally, seems like a brilliant (partially) marketing move, gotta love You, CDPR!
Here's hoping dice poker will make a return in one of those DLCs.![]()
Plenty of other devs release day 1 DLC and want you to pay for it. CoD AW is currently doing that, Lords of the Fallen just did that.. It would be more work to bundle the DLC into the main game at this point, hard copies of the game may already be in production. All sorts of reasons, the complaint that some people don't have internet access is odd frankly- no matter what the DLC you would need internet access. Weird knit to pick here.. especially since they're saying it's free for everyone. Honestly, who plays games that doesn't have internet access? If this is expressly for people who don't pay for Xbox Live or PS+, then maybe those people should do something about their problem. The devs are doing something awesome here. The DLC is fine and it's free. The production of the game is done and they work on DLC, that's all good. I'm am talking about the DLC being released on day 1 of the game being released. If the DLC was released weeks after the game was released then all good.
