I wonder how many here have been involved in a mammoth cutting edge project lasting almost 4 years involving hundreds of people.

How many can truly understand the workload, the undertaking, the risks, the costs, the planning, the deadlines, the disappointments, the unexpected issues along the way.

People can be too quick to judge as evident in recent days, people are also not entitled to all the facts outside of the new release date.

Two delays though? At what point was the game stable enough where they initially thought they could launch in 2014, let alone February 2015?

I read a good point in another thread. The book "The world of the witcher" has spoilers in it for TW3? Shouldn't that be delayed too? If it does have spoilers I think you guys should delay it. Amazon still lists the original February date for it. The strategy guide for The Witcher 3 too.

I have. I restore old cars/build race cars/do custom fab work for very rich and powerful people. When we give a date we stick to it 95 percent of the time and If I and my fellow team mates do have to let a customer down We only do it once. We make sure we can hit the second date. I may not know much about what CDPR does but I know this is unprofessional behavior. To say otherwise is just being blind to the obvious lack of professionalism.

My team and I have had to do some seriously long term resto work on cars that have very little available parts wise. We have to fabricate 90 percent of the resto parts. We have deadlines that "HAVE" to be meet or we loose profits. Some guys plan for years to do a car a certain way to go to a national show with the intentions of winning top prize. This is were xp come in. CDPR has 2 games under their belt. 2. That is ONE, TWO. That is lack of XP. This is why this game has been delayed twice. I suspect Cyper Punk will go much smoother for them. I also think they have learned some valuable lessons. Such as do not over promise on what you can deliver. Also, not to give more than one release date. I understand that but it is frustrating.

This delay hurts so much, but good luck guys, seriously, make the greatest game ever
