I already have both games on steam, gog and retail box! 6 copies yo! I'm not of the praying type but I'm really hoping that the CE comes in India, seeing these days many CE of different games are coming here. I so wanted to buy the dark edition despite not having a 360 but no one shipped here :(

I've always had faith in CD Projekt RED, but I don't know about this one. Combining both freeroam and branching storyline? That's like saying "We want to make a perfect RPG". I thought this scale of concept was laughably impossible, an RPG that only exits in our wildest imagination. Even RPGs like PST wasn't fully explorable. And the game comes out next year? So soon? Even Blizzard had to spend 10 years to make something polished. It's bigger than Skyrim? What a daring thing to say. I hope the writing won't be as bland as Skyrim.

Being passionate is good, but this is quite a leap from a story-driven RPG they are used to. Just give the 2nd one some polish and a new story. I'll give it a full score for that. Trying to put everything in your game may lead to mediocrity, and that's what I'm worrying about.

the game I expected the most. the best prg series i play (maybe because I'm a fan of the series: books, caracters , universe so dark so mature I even download the 13 episode polish series xd and I have the first two collectors) thank you for pr cd to be so faithful to the series and fans as you do that I always bear these games :)

preorder this when this is possible.

but i take what nnecron said " I've always had faith in CD Projekt RED, but I don't know about this one. Combining both freeroam and branching storyline? to me if the game if as GREAT as the 2 and LONG as the first this will BE THE BEST rpg i ever play

Here we are then. It is quite unfortunate that the last game will be wrapping up the whole saga, mainly because I don't want them to rush out plot points merely to fit them within the timespan of this one game. I am certainly more than a bit concerned about exactly how far the technology in their minds has actually come as well. While TW2 looked great, there were still things which could be improved upon, and I truly doubt the world is as big as they could have possibly imagined it. And this open world, how is it to be structured? Is it mainly empty swathes like TES or a more structured open interaction like Ultima?

But despite all my worries, I hope for the best to come out of this. It will certainly be an ending which I wouldn't have thought to unfurl, and it will be sad to see such a lucrative tale close up in three magnificent games. That ending though... We've all wanted it, and we all want to know where it's going to take us, and that's where I hope the narrative can truly surprise us. Few games have great endings, and some don't even really end appropriately, so I put my trust in CDPR for that much.

Oh yeah, and give us a good game too :D

CDPR is aware of the technical difficulties but banks on what they learned using the earlier version of the Red Engine in TW2.

When TW2 was launched probably TW3 was already being discussed and up to this point have already a working version of the world.

I have the utmost confidence on CDPR that they will deliver and will succeed in this endeavor.

Spend your time polish it and bring us the best game ever. Love the fact there will be no QTE's I wonder what they will be doing for the fist fights?
you guys are my Favorite Developer, I hope it stays that way for many years to come keep up the good work.

Sounds amazing. And while some might be sad for it to end so soon. Keep in mind that most franchises that get stretched out for years eventually decline in quality or change completely to something else. I think its actually a lot wiser to only make a few games using your best ideas, and then end on a high note like they plan. It only makes me more excited knowing Geralts story will get a real conclusion. Let's just hope its better than Mass Effect 3's lol.

Speaking of which I hope our save data from the previous Witcher games come into play significantly. Would like it if I still have Aerondight in my inventory in Witcher 3, and could get it powered up by the goddess of the lake if she returns. And to have the residents of regions we visited in those games to remember what we did when we go back there.

So there will be other Witcher games after TW3. Let me guess.. MMORPG? />

At least it's confirmed now, TW3 will be released on all platform at the same time.

Just translate this. It basically says that its not end of games in the witcher world.
And they will do something big at e3.

Do you need to ask?

A Letho spin off about his days just before meeting Geralt, and during their hunt for the Wild Hunt would be epic beyond words. CDPR could smash the barriers between antagonist and protagonist.

No Quick Time Events and 30 times bigger than TW2.

I LIKE!

Sad that it's the last one in the series, but if they go out with a bang it will still be great. I'm sure they'll give us other wonderful games too, starting with Cyberpunk.

Also small note on the signup form for pre-order. They have opt-IN instead of opt-OUT for marketing stuff. I just love that and wish everybody did it. Really shows the mentality of this company. :)

Other than spreading the good word and getting more people to buy the Witcher series of games, we should start a community driven fund and forward it to CDPR. I would gladly contribute if it helps to pay for, you know, donuts, cakes and diet coke if it keeps the dev team's morale up. Or maybe help to pay for more needed assets and manpower. Yes I love you that much CDPR. So much that I'm breaking out of my hermit shell and posting for the first time. LOL.

awesome stuff! sounds pretty interesting with the open world setting.

I just hope some of the pc aspects don't get screwed again like controls, mouse movement and inventory etc....

I keep seeing that many people are still asking the developers to include range weapons for Geralt to use in The Witcher 3. Especially the Bow and Crossbow. Witchers do not use bows or crossbows. Enemies using bow and crossbows are all well and good since we have seen them in the previous games, but Witchers do not use them.

If the Witcher games are continued with Ciri as a protagonist...

...does it mean we would get MALE sex cards or sex scenes with nude MALES!?!?!?!

Rock,Paper,Shotgun would go over 9000 on this one :p
