Yeah, I really want a top quality wolf pendant more than anything else. I know they did this before, but I didn't like the look of it. Hopefully they make one that is made out of steel (i don't expect silver).
They need one like the keychain pre-order from TW2 but with better quality and attention to detail. I saw a silver one with ruby eyes on ebay an it looks cool but not for 340 bucks!! lol...
I'd love a keychain, as it's something I can use. The only problem is the design - there's an awful lot of sharp pointy bits on a Witcher medallion. But if they could find some way of solving that without breaking away too much from the real medallion, it would be perfect.
Yeah that went through my mind at some point too.... but if it isnt like the real medaillion I rather not have it at all.... the previous one didnt impress me either..... you just have to wear some armor with it ツ ... i probably wouldnt wear it anyway... i think a figure wich wears the medallion would be best ツ
Maybe embedding the wolf in that clear plastic stuff would work for a keychain, as long as it didn't end up just being tacky.
It will, if they cover it with crap. I want cold hard steel! As in-game like as possible.

Might be a dumb question, and I apologize if it has been asked before. I intend to pre-order the CE when announced, but is CDPR planning to sell it themselves through a web store or GOG.com? I would prefer to purchase directly from CDPR and pay shipping vs picking it up from a brick and mortar store. Just curious if that had been discussed or even less likely decided on...
The digital version will be sold through GOG. That's confirmed. Nothing about CE versions has been confirmed yet.

nice! it would not be so bad to have figurines like these in the CE!
One request I'd like to make is to not make overly expensive like some publishers tend to do with collector's editions of their games. Put stuff that's cool, but don't add in a lot of junk just for the sake of making a big, fat collector's edition. The way you went about with the collector's edition for The Witcher 2 was perfect.
I'd say an Artbook, Soundtrack and Making of, are a given. If you're gonna put some sort of 3D figure, please make it something classy like Geralt's marble head bust/the witcher medallion rather than some crappy, oversized toy made out of plastic. Also, I'm gonna request that you not put stuff that people can get from elsewhere, like The Witcher comic or the novella's. These are things that an average Witcher fan already has, or get for himself from Amazon. You should rather put stuff that is unique and unavailable elsewhere, like the Geralt marble bust.
