Is there a standard blu ray/dvd case for the games as well the steelbook? I like steelbooks but only for collecting purposes. I much rather have a standard case to store my games. The unboxing video looked like it infact does include a normal case but I am not sure because that isn't really a norm in our industry. Tales of Symphonia CE did this.
The collector's preorder is not active for Greece.Do you know when it will be available?
Another Greek forum member @tripialos bought it from amazon.de and said that he probably won't have to pay customs. It is more expensive since you have to pay the trasport fees but it is your choice. Not sure when or if it will be available..

I went to tha main Public store in Athens center and asked them about the CE but the guy did not have a clue. Where did you get such information? Is this 100% sure?
You can go and check enternity its a greek games site that provided the information.
There are no customs within the EU, so buying in another EU country is only the matter of local prices and shipping costs.
Darcler i asked cdp a store from poland if i can preorder the TW3 collector's from their shop cause it's much cheaper but they said i can't.I guess i will preorder it either from Greece or Germany.
It seems I have the same problem as you guys, the collectors edition does not show up yet in the two Dutch stores that are given by the preorder page. I just hope that they will eventually show up. I've been thinking about ordering from Amazon.de, but then I realised that the Germans always translate everything to German and that they censor bloody/gory stuff (example: Left 4 Dead), so I'd rather buy it in my own country...
I have contacted the cdp.pl via a friend of mine here in Greece and asked them if they can send the CE here in Greece. They said since we are in EU they indeed can send the W3 CE in greece without any problem.... :-S
I have asked them for details regarding the postage costs.

as @darclerler stated , i just confirned that trades within EU are free of custom charges! So no issues with amazon.de or dpp.pl

I don't think that the German version will be different,let's hope someone can confirm it.
In the livestream they stated the content of every game, no matter what version etc, will be the same. So let's hope it will be so in fact.
But it would be interesting to know if the german books are translated, yes.

My first impression on the CE is that " its perfectly awesome" , .....however on second thought I wondered if Geralt actually would hunt a griffin.
I always thought griffins dont attack humans , they hunt for rabbits & other small creatures...
Geralt hunts monsters , but only those who pose a threat to humans ... Geralt wouldnt kill a dragon for the same reason
The figure looks awesome ,still the thought " are griffins beast that attack humans ?" crossed my mind.
I thought smth like this is more "true to the lore"...
since he actually carrys the head of a dangerous beast which poses a threat to humans ... but ofc the griffin stuff looks pretty awesome and more spectacular ..

Well, griffin is a wild beast so it can definitely attack humans - we will know more probably from the game about this specific one. Although dragons can be a threat for humanity, they can think for themselves, therefore witchers leave them alone. Yeah, it's a pitty someone kills creacher like this, but it's the same as wild grizzly bear attacking people on the streets -probably much more dangerous though.

That's what I suspected. Weird @ tripialos got positive answer. As I understand it, Namco Bandai is responsible for the distribution in Europe, and CDProjekt is doing it in Poland because it's their home market. It would be weird if CDP were to start competing with their business partner; I'm pretty sure the companies agreed to keep to their respective areas, at least as far as retail distribution is concerned.
Does anyone "officially" know how many CE's will be sold world wide / per country? Is it really going to be that limited? Just wondering, already pre-ordered mine today!
