Does anyone "officially" know how many CE's will be sold world wide / per country? Is it really going to be that limited? Just wondering, already pre-ordered mine today!

I hope they limit it per country and not per world, else I'll be screwed.

They appear to be very limited as AmazonUS is no longer carrying them at the moment. I love how CDProjekt is actually limiting these for collector's and not massing producing them to the point that it'll be heavily discounted later like ACIV which can be bought new for $60 now. It's like a giant middle finger of disrespect imo when companies do that. Don't say it is limited unless you actually mean it.

It seems I have the same problem as you guys, the collectors edition does not show up yet in the two Dutch stores that are given by the preorder page. I just hope that they will eventually show up. I've been thinking about ordering from Amazon.de, but then I realised that the Germans always translate everything to German and that they censor bloody/gory stuff (example: Left 4 Dead), so I'd rather buy it in my own country...

You are save if the rating gets 18+... no censorship there..

If it's true that there are only 10000 than thats not much i think. Hopefully they increase the numbers. I think it was the same witch The Witcher 2 CE. First it was sold out, then there wer copies available again.

But is it only me or was the CE of The Witcher 2 much better?
The price was only 70€, the half of the price of the WIld Hunt CE. And it contains much more than this CE. Additionally to the same/similar parts there were the card game, the dice and the papercrafts.

It's kind of annoying. CEs getting sold out left and right and people getting forced to order from abroad at ridiculous prices (UK CE is 160 euros, without shipping fess). I hope CDPR do something about this. It's not the first time Namco screws it up.

But there was also the Statue of Geralts head in TW2 CE and it was felt like there were a lot more copies.
And there is also enougth time to produce the CE, so that shouldnt be the problem.
I don't have a problem wwith limitating the CE but there should be enougth time to order it. If someone dind't noticed it yesterday or today he won't be able to order it.

But there is not the same expectation for TW3 than TW2. I, e.g., never ever bought any CD nnor TW2. This time I DO it so you imagine the result, well, you'll not. I'm afraid not even the same CDPR are able to make an estimate of how demand has soared. There's no comparison.

Really impressive numbers, guys! Only Xbox One doens't seem that demanded in Germany. The numbers for the PC and PS4 versions are pretty strong!
