God they are so pretty, though I'm not sure how much I like the end on the silver sword. Still tempted to get one of these, but they aren't cheap. I wonder what the little card between them says?

I got a sword from a blacksmith in Toledo / Spain when I travelled there.
The one I got costed roughly 150-200€, but was top class craftmanship with a properly balanced grip.

Just so you know: breaking into my house is not a good idea.

I wonder what the little card between them says?

I do like the moulded pommel one, not so much the other. But I'm telling you, you wouldn't be "free" to appreciate them long if the peelers in my part of the world discovered you had them about the place !

The thing is...looking at Achievements page they are called Orens. And the devs one time called them REDpoints/Orens.

Wouldn't it be swell to find out that you accumulated money as well as praise, and that you could transfer this amount to Witcher 3 upon release?

That is, with my 300+ Orens I can afford...well. Maybe a loaf of bread, a mutton leg, a watermelon and Cintrian Faro to wash it down(edibles! :happy. A knife, and some crossbow quarrels. And I guess I use some coins to grease some palms, get some information. Oh, BOOKS, I would buy books! Reading up on Sapowski's witcher world. Then I had to go out into the forest and pick all kinds of flowers to make potions and oils because money is running thin...and let's face it...picking the flowers is more fun than buying them, even if supporting the local herbalist is a good thing. And then, after spending some small amount at the local tavern playing dice, I'm ready to do witcher work. Not that there lies much money in that. Ask Geralt. :happy:

I mean it's just an idea sure, but it hit me as soon as I saw REDpoints also being called Orens which was quite a while ago. If this is the case...to those of you with thousands upon thousands of Orens. Have fun! :welcome:

They make really nice swords there. A lot of movies got their swords from blacksmiths in that area.

And yes, Ciri's character model is as great as I hoped it was.
In fact it's very similar to the one in the cosplay guide, but I was too in awe to catch many details
during that short and impressive scene.




What ? But.... but.... it was the best line I've ever been in at Gamescom !

All employees working at the booth did a fantastic job, we got lots of free Witcher stuff,
Eve and Aleksandra kept people in a good mood and the presentation was completely worth it.
Lol, Aleksandra... good times.

And it also was amazing to meet @GingerEffect in person, he's such a nice guy.
So shout out to everyone working at the booth, even today. Your efforts are very appreciated~

Was nice to meet you in person as well. And even better to read the comments here after the presentation. I am back to work now though. So much to do!
