No, expansions won't be includedI haven't played the Hearts Of Stone and the Blood & Wine DLC's yet, so i was also wondering if these will be included in the free update?
2) Base game without expansions will get the next-gen upgrade however expansions need to be purchases separately. I'd recommend getting Game of The Year / Complete Edition to get the full package. Hope this helps!
Thanks!No, expansions won't be included![]()
The long-awaited free next-gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming out on December 14th, 2022!
The next-gen update is free for everyone who already owns any version of the game. For those who don’t have the game yet, a dedicated next-gen version, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition, featuring all enhancements, free DLCs and story expansions: Hearts of Stone & Blood and Wine, will be available for purchase digitally on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a physical release at a later date.
In addition to the next-gen release, the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will also receive an update featuring numerous additions and improvements, as well as the Netflix Witcher-themed DLCs. Further details, including the release date, will be announced soon.
Nope you don't have to buy anythingJust checking - the quote above says free for everyone who already owns any version of the game - however the advert says only those that have purchased GOTY edition - what's real?
I bought Witcher 3 on first release, then Blood n Wine and Hearst of Stone when they were released - so all bought separately...GOTY edition didn't even exist at this time.....
Just hoping that I don't have to buy this all over again.....

Oh adaptive triggers that's good to hear, I hope you guys could add haptic feedback as well but if not then that's alright too. It's partial on PC. There's no haptic feedback per se but we have vibration and adaptive triggers.
I second this second. Those white bunnies shouldn't be an exception when neither white wolves nor white bears are.Second: Can I now loot the snow-/mountain-hares of skellige? Please!!!
Hey, yes NPC counts went up across the board to bring consoles closer to the Ultra PC settings, while PC also gets a new Ultra+ setting that goes even further (Of course you'll likely only see the difference in Novigrad or Beauclair, since the smaller villages of course only have a set number of inhabitants anyway).
I assume the update will be available on every platforms on which you can buy the game (so Epic store included).does someone know if the next gen update will be available for epic games store? or only steam / gog?
I'd prefer roadside brothels between villages/cities, those are very medievalRidiculous.
I want my villages overflowing with villagers!!!![]()
