Bear mount would be nice, but I kind of want to get me one of them interdimensional horses.

Congrats CDPR, looks like everything is running better and smoother. Animations look great, the sound is great, the vistas and draw distance look spectacular.

I echo the same concerns over the HUD, everything on screen looks oversised, and horse stamina bar and large xp points need to vanish.

In the following screenshot from the Witcher 3 press event, the top right portion of the HUD is bigger and takes up more of the screen than Geralt.

The above screenshot and the below GIF highlight some concerns over the combat camera. Geralt is smack bang centre screen and is blocking visibility of the enemy. I can barely see the enemy I am fighting, making it difficult to predict the enemies moves.

Here are some games where the main character wasn't in the way of visibility, and you have a better grasp of the enemy, and a more personal feel to the combat.

Witcher 2

Dragon Age Inquisition

Bloodborne

Dark Souls 2

Dragons Dogma

The more more important question is, can we mount a griffin ?
I don't think so, but it's worth a shot.

You're not actually planning to.... play the game without moving the camera, right?

It's not like camera control is the most crucial part of combat aside from tactics or anything>_>

Obviously, but watch the GIF, you're kinda heavily restricted.

It might just need an extra set of rules added for a corridor environment.

Don't know if anyone has said this before but at 1:11 in the video, the mission is called Lilac and Gooseberries. Most of you guys will probably know the reference :)

With just aiming the camera more to the ground and less to the horizon you'll be able to see enemies in corridors just fine.

Sorry for not posting screenshots, but in these videos you can find plenty of situations where the player moved the camera to different angles during battle, instead of being placed right behind Geralt. You're far from as restricted as you describe, it's just that those specific shots you chose make it seem so.

But the player isn't actually able to toggle camera presets similar to something like gta, right?
Seems like this would solve a lot of problems for people.
edit: looking at the e3 gameplay the camera is a lot closer to Geralt which I do think looks nicer, but does this mean there will be an option to change the camera or did they simply change it since then so this is how it is?

Oh wow. Just ... WOW. I'm speechless, literally. I don't know what to say apart from 'awesome', 'wow', and 'OMG', lol. It's looking too good for mere words to describe.

The map i agree, takes up a fair chunk of real estate. I would the option to change the actual map part, make it smaller in circumference, then being able to zoom in/out on your position, so you are seeing a smaller area.
As it is now, your position is teeny-tiny and the actual area is large. That whole map area just seems a bit too cluttered. Although there might be an optino to disable certain details, the thing is, i want to know all these details, i just wish they were arranged somehow cleaner and smaller.

The health bar area is also a little too big, the whole section there could be moved into the corner more, and the health bar made thinner and shorter.

Oh man, they teased us about climbing onto enemies like in Dragon's Dogma and shadow of the Colossus in the statue video, but i don't think its a feature in the game. Probably just a cutscene.
