The more more important question is, can we mount a griffin ?More importantly: Can we mount it?
You're not actually planning to.... play the game without moving the camera, right? The above screenshot and the below GIF highlight some concerns over the combat camera. Geralt is smack bang centre screen and is blocking visibility of the enemy. I can barely see the enemy I am fighting, making it difficult to predict the enemies moves.
Obviously, but watch the GIF, you're kinda heavily restricted. You're not actually planning to.... play the game without moving the camera, right?
It's not like camera control is the most crucial part of combat aside from tactics or anything>_>
With just aiming the camera more to the ground and less to the horizon you'll be able to see enemies in corridors just fine.Obviously, but watch the GIF, you're kinda heavily restricted.
It might just need an extra set of rules added for a corridor environment.

Sorry for not posting screenshots, but in these videos you can find plenty of situations where the player moved the camera to different angles during battle, instead of being placed right behind Geralt. You're far from as restricted as you describe, it's just that those specific shots you chose make it seem so.Congrats CDPR, looks like everything is running better and smoother. Animations look great, the sound is great, the vistas and draw distance look spectacular.
I echo the same concerns over the HUD, everything on screen looks oversised, and horse stamina bar and large xp points need to vanish.
In the following screenshot from the Witcher 3 press event, the top right portion of the HUD is bigger and takes up more of the screen than Geralt.

Here are some games where the main character wasn't in the way of visibility, and you have a better grasp of the enemy, and a more personal feel to the combat.
just to confirm, that how yen smelled right?Don't know if anyone has said this before but at 1:11 in the video, the mission is called Lilac and Gooseberries. Most of you guys will probably know the reference![]()
