Typical journalism today.dragonbird said:Misleading title, since the key take-away from the article is probably
"The experience should be identical."
Like this?krisk7 said:We just need to find some quotes from CD Projekt that they aimed for the same level of experience for PC and XBOX ONE while working on TW2 and further discussion will become pointless.
According to CD Projekt Red, The Witcher 2 for the Xbox 360 will come at "no quality compromise" compared to the PC version. Additionally, the developer said players can expect "the same experiences" on consoles as with the computer game.
Old news, what they're saying now is that they're not sure.dragonbird said:
Well, yes, pretty old. It was a 2012 article about the launch of TW2 on Xbox360. As requested by Krisk7.Sycophant said:Old news...
My pain is seeing people who keep taking generic PR statements in consideration as if they were actually useful in learning anything relevant about a game, in a sense or the other.AserPik said:My fear that in creating this identical experience, they possibly lower the standard of the Pc version. But since its CDPR doing it, I severely doubt it.
Damn, sorry. I got misled by the Xbox one part - which did not exist then.dragonbird said:Well, yes, pretty old. It was a 2012 article about the launch of TW2 on Xbox360. As requested by Krisk7.
Dude, it's pre-alpha. As in they only started working on it for about 3-4 months. Give it time.Lopes21 said:Just like that Geralt's movements were not so "robotic" as in other games. would be cool to drive more fluid, as in Assassin's Creed, for example. a bit of movement in this style and I'd be satisfied.is clear that the game is already good, I'm just being a little too detailed.
No, they didn't.Sycophant said:Dude, it's pre-alpha. As in they only started working on it for about 3-4 months. Give it time.
You are correct in your point - it is one I originally made. I only made the pre-alpha case because the fluidity he wants is already something CDP Red said they are aiming for, thus his suggestion is kind of redundant. Secondly, here is an interview where CDP said that at the time of E3, they had worked on the game (the actual game, not the concepts) for only 2 months. it's kinda big, but wortha watch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZmJjbuCmwYTucoBenedicto said:No, they didn't.
Beside, there's no need to be over-defensive about the game either.
It's completely fair game for people to give a honest feedback on what they've seen so far, regardless if that was intended for the general audience or not.
Are they surely going to improve it a lot? Well, let's hope that's the case. It would be all for the better, but I don't see the problem in pointing "You know, I noticed this little thing I didn't like".
