Hi there,

I want to pre-order the game but I'm not sure if my system can handle it to a satisfactory level!
Could you tell me if my PC can handle it?

Specs:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4670K CPU @ 3.40GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 2GB
8.1 GB RAM
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit

Thanks friends <3

Processor is good. GPU a little below recommended, but well above minimum in terms of clock. Might have to select what shaders are running and in what quality, or accept lower framerates. Should be a solid performer though, if not at the very highest level.

We'll see for certain only after release of course. I have the opposite "problem" a Sandy bridge 2400, with a GTX970 ~ while the GPU is probably ample, I may struggle with CPU Physx and have to compromise to meet adequate framerates... or just pop in an Ivy Bridge 3770 (fastest my board will support, but a bit too spendy on top of everything else... & I'd rather not if I don't have to.)

How do I select my shaders?

(In game options ~ some will be heavier than others. You may need to balance IQ against performance (also for me IQ isn't highest with all options active ~ dislike overdone Chromatic Aberration, Lens Flares and Bloom ~ though modest amounts can be fine). AA and other texture and draw distance/detail options are likely to have larger impacts, as well as certain Physx and Apex elements).

I'll just fiddle with the settings when I get it then :)

What graphics card would you recommend?

As you can see I have a 970 and a 2500, somehow similar to yours, I was told that my CPU will be enough for Ultra or almost Ultra, just disable some Gameworks.
Just look at some charts over the internet ,you will gain 15% at most wiht and actual high end CPU

970 is the best card now, Price/Performance

Probably high textures, normal shadows, some AA, 1080p.

Not really the type of answer expected in these forums - maybe you should avoid responding to such questions? Post deleted.

I think ps4 over pc for you. You are around the minimum specs (and your cpu is below). But we haven't seen ps4 footage nor pc-low footage so that's just guesses.

Buy or not? (Videocard)

I'm one doubts because my PC is an FX-8350, 8GB RAM, however my videocard is a old AMD 7970 3GB Vapor-X. My question is if I will be able to play at the high in this setup.
What do you think about?

PhysX

Hey guys, I am trying to decide if I should add a dedicated physx card to my setup, after viewing quite a bit of the gameplay footage there seems to be a lot of physx related effects going on and Im wondering if I would see any benefit from a dedicated gpu such as a gtx 750ti 2gb. I understand its impossible to give a definitive answer but any thoughts would be appreciated?

my specs - gtx 780ti 3gb SLI, i7 4790k, 16gb 1600mhz, maximus vii formula, ROG swift 27 gsync display ,

Will it help? Definitely. How much will it help? From my experience about 10% bump in performance(as in 10% less load for primary GPU so it can do other stuff) in Physx heavy games.

I don't think you need a dedicated card, you already have an nvida card(s), that can handle physx just fine. Would you use an AMD card, that would be a whole other story.
If I remember correctly and nvidia didn't change the setup much, physx is handled by a separate chip on the graphic card. Originally it was a separate company making this addiotional tech on a standalone cards, Nvidia bought them and implemented the tech on their own cards. So second one would be an unnecessary overkill. Maybe some HW wizard will correct me if I'm wrong.

The physics calculations are still handled by the same stream processors that handle graphics calculations in a single card. So, a dedicated card would definitely take some load off.

Fair enough. Curious - how does it work in SLI setup (OP), I imagine the performance impact would be even more negligible.

I would imagine so, makes sense. I have never personally had a SLI system, so I'm not sure.

I think medium-high settings with comfortable 40-50 fps.
