My exact thoughts. I've seen people complain that the Gamma settings slider is bugged. But I flatout don't have one at all in my menu. Had to adjust gamma on my monitor to make it more grounded and real-looking. The colors by default are definitely too vivid. The game looks beautiful however if I have one quibble it would be the color saturation is really high so that it feels less realistic and more like walking around in a pretty painting. That's on one level very pretty but not as realistic as I was expecting.
Earlier we’d seen Geralt meditate, and watched as the sky rolled around, and the weather transformed in accelerated time. It’s hardly a surprise when big budget games look incredible, these days, but moments like that nevertheless grasped me by the eyeballs.
You need to have the game running in Fullscreen for the Gamma slider to appear and take effect.I've seen people complain that the Gamma settings slider is bugged. But I flatout don't have one at all in my menu. Had to adjust gamma on my monitor to make it more grounded and real-looking.
The realtime effect was removed and now it's just a black window, I'm afraid.P.S. Has the meditation screen been changed from the 2013 E3 version?
Thanks for helping with the Gamma thingie. But the fact that the real-time meditation was left on the cutting room floor is a real bummer. You need to have the game running in Fullscreen for the Gamma slider to appear and take effect.

I think they will be released separately. Shoud have been today, maybe will be tomorrow. Thanks for helping with the Gamma thingie. But the fact that the real-time meditation was left on the cutting room floor is a real bummer.

Downloaded the game from GOG but I wonder if you should install the first two DLCs separately (the Beard & Hairstyle Set and Temerian armour set) or were they installed automatically with the latest patch (1.02) and are already in the game? They say these DLCs became available when the game went live on May 19th but I don't see a specific download on gog.com in my profile.
Isn't that a laptop you got there? Is it even upgradable? In case I have to buy another graphic card: which graphic card can my processor support at max?
Nah, not really. A GTX970M is on a similar level as a Desktop GTX 960, so for a good performance you need at least to turn off Hairworks, and possibly set a few more things from highest to high.Yes it's a laptop and the graphic card is upgradeable. So if I get a GTX 970M I can get the highest possible graphics?
