Hey,
my humble opinion is that the wallpaper is too lacking.

I mean, the sword is new, that's for sure.
The being looks too similar to a wraith.
Other than that, there's nothing - just some branches and sparks.
Both Geralt's and the wraith's poses are very generic - they don't give any proper glimpse about the DLC's direction, motivation,...

The sword looks too alien to me, especially the red "buttons" at the end of the guard. It seems the design would suit some different item better, like a carafe, a staff or something...

Geralt seems to be photoshop-ed in. The lighting on him seems wrong and his whole figure (especially arms and head) look to be on a higher layer, exposed out of the environment.

Like 60% of the wallpaper space is empty. There is nothing, only the two figures.
I mean - what elements of it say "songs of the past"? (How is the DLC's name related to the graphic?)
I guess the being is a time-shifter or something; and the sword resonates with it somehow (enables the holder to "cut through" the past and so travel through it) and gives the holder a chance to slay it, but if that's the case, I would consider that uninspired.

Anyway, that's just my first impression :)
