Yes.
Blood is ostensively problematic.
1) Too viscous, 2) gushes too profusely 3) disappears into thin air and leaves no trace behind (which, frankly, is tolerable and understandable).

Blood looks and behaves like caramel. Please fix this.

It's just a quibble but remember you will be seeing a lot of blood splattering in the game so they better nail it.

I am a bit worried that the attacks in the combat part look very slow and "too heavy" compared to what i was imagining, some kind of super fast martial art sword combat, but mainly also because i read a lot of times how now you walk but your attacks are very fast in interviews and such, yet i dont see that here, except for the walking, and neither in the debut gameplay trailer.

I hope this is not representative of Geralt's general combat performance in the final game.

Or add at least an ice-cream cone as a weapon.
This way all that caramel doesn't go to waste..

Oh yeah, realistic blood spatter is your friend. Arterial spray should look like arterial spray, high velocity blood spatter should look accordingly, aspirated blood on the walls should have its unique distinctive look. In this case the CSIs will use TW3 as a training tool for investigating different types of wounds and weapons used, and TW3 will be bought by every police department in the US. :)

But seriously, just do what you think is right, and leave the rest. Otherwise, if you, CDPR guys, chase every tiny-winy detail, TW3 will never see the light of day.

Isn't it still in alpha?

Why, sure.
But they've explicitly asked for our feedback:

We have such a short trailer to wok with and it's great for the most part. That's perhaps why the blood splattering looks so out of place.

Yes it is, but the animations are what they are.

However, you made me remember that it is true that one of the main devs, either Konrad or Marek, said that among all of the great things we can do to improve geralt's abilities, we will also be able to see this improvements visually while playing, and i think they made the example of seeing the animations move faster if you upgraded your speed and etc.

So perhaps you start off with a rather common/human movement and later you get all witcherized :D

Actually, I have one serious request about blood. I don't know what can be done about physics of blood spatter, but there must be a natural progression of bleeding. We had it in scripted form in TW2, when we were looking for Cedric. Wounded people and animals who escaped a fight should leave a blood trial, which is terminate when 1. that person/animal dies, and if we follow a blood trial, we'll find a dead body, or 2. blood naturally clots or is bandaged, and the blood trail ends.

Geralt kind of looks like Harrison Ford. Also, his pupils are normal (round).

Cool trailer!

I surrender, I surrender! Awesome trailer!! I had such a huge grin watching it, the in-game footage looks superb, wish there was more. Thanks for continuing with your awesome standards, Reds. Can't wait for this beast game.

I disagree. It almost looks like gelatin or something, and there''s too much of it. It's one of the few visual effects in TW2 that really bugs me.

True. Considering the quality of fire effects for example, I bet there's still something that can be done to make blood look better and more realistic.

Also, the quality of the characters doesn't seem to be on par with the rest I think. For example the faces in the village scene look like wax dolls. And then there's Geralt...but there's plenty of time 'till release I guess.

Well, after so many references to Doritos, Mountain Dew, gaming journalism, VGX and Geoff Keighley in the same sentence, it's only to hear him out:

Podcast ( via NeoGAF)

- He discusses his status as the Doritos Pope.
- He talks about the decision to choose Joel.

For the time being, no comments.

Right there, hair is so underwhelming. Surprising they have fur tech now but hair looks quite polygon-ized.
