Ah. Then yes, I'm more open to that idea. A nice lore-building side game would be great, since the Witcher world is the most interesting I've seen. It's managed to be fresh and unique in a heavily over-used genre. Any new backstory would be awesome. Still undecided on co-op though.Absolutely, their tale would have to be quite dark, but not so 'serious' as to deal with wild hunt, or world politics and occasional humor wouldn't hurt anyone. It would be a chance to make a game that is in majority focused on being a witcher, hunting monsters. With a friend.
My answer in co-op it's: definitely not, it'll unbalance the game, the achievement and conquest feeling of leveling up and getting stronger, so you can finally kill that X monster will disappear. ok but anyone trying to beat it at singleplayer will be doomed foreveOr you can have such legendary monsters that 2 high level witcher work their ass of to bring it down together. And all monster hunting could be so that it takes big amount of strategy, not grinding. Imagine kayran fight but without scripted scenes, qte, and so on...
That is the point of 2 player coop expansion, you don't go in aloneok but anyone trying to beat it at singleplayer will be doomed foreve
It's been confirmed that you can "jump", and I think that's that, nothing else.Excuse me, could you tell me if it has been confirmed the possibility of being able to climb rock walls, climb trees and down, for example by means of a rope in a pit / underground tunnels?
Climbing and jumping over obstacles is in too. We just don't know to what extent. It's been confirmed that you can "jump", and I think that's that, nothing else.
I would love if at some points might be given to this possibility.Climbing and jumping over obstacles is in too. We just don't know to what extent.

I wouldn't know about rendering two games on one tv, but yes, basically, coop only game. I'm not for AI controlled other witcher when there is no friend around, rather, you can play solo, explore, investigate, buy, create gear, steal around and do some 'main' quests, but you can't take down bigger monsters. Yes, some people without friends would be kinda left out, but since it is expansion pack, there are couple of advantages though, Game can be cheaper and you can add more areas as you wish, without worrying how to weave that territory with quests for main game, you just market it as new 'hunting' groundsSo they'd market it as exclusive co-op?
I'm not saying it isn't a good idea - it is, but that's a tough sell for people, especially if it's online co-op. Then you're asking for two copies of a game to be sold for someone to even be able to experience the game. (they could do couch co-op but I've heard now that rendering games twice on one screen for two players is graphically straining.)
You can also climb* flying in a balloon. Also, by climbing, we don't actually know what they mean. You can 'climb' a flight of stairs, and you can 'climb' a mountain face. They could just be referring to ascension via pathways, unless I'm mistaken?
SourceThe monster-slayer apparently hit the gym after The Witcher 2 wrapped up, as he now adds climbing and jumping to his movement abilities.
