Can you add Playstation buttons on PC version The Witcher 3

I prefer the PS4 controller.
I like the L1/R1 L2/R2 and View attachment 5554 buttons better than the LB/RB LT/RT and View attachment 5555 buttons.

And they look better.

Will be great if you add Playstation buttons : )

Dziękujemy ^^

It is possible and I don't think its even difficult to do. They would just have to add PS4 button leyout in the controller settings. Game wouldnt contain PS4 drivers just the graphical button leyout on the screen. You would still have to use DS4Tool. Anyway It's should be possible to mod it tho.

You mean something like vains on his face and body based on toxicity level of the mixed potions? Yea maybe it could work. Something like, if you use a lot of strong mixtures later in the game it could permanently add scars to Geralts appearance?

I hope you don't mean anything like Dragon Ball Z aura... that would be epic fail

Potion effects shouldn't be permanent. People are asking for what's depicted in the books: his complexion becomes extremely pale, some veins show, and his eyes look very creepy when he's on the witcher sauce. When it wears off, he goes back to normal.

Give me a fishing mini game. Could do without wild game hunting since there's plenty of monster hunting. But fishing done right would be awesome for me personally.

potions to make geralt glow?

On a serious note I would love to see arena where we could to fights strong enemies or tournaments for money or items that takes place every few days.

I wish for cool looking ghost like phantom orbs that come out at night, or are only scene in dark places.
Similar to the ones in Dragons Dogma would be awesome, the lighting effect of those things at night in the woods were really cool and creepy looking;)

I would really like to have more quests where Geralt has to lift a curse, analyse the situation and prepare rituals etc... I really hope, that in general, he has to do more "real" witchers work, aside from the obvious story driven mainquests. Also, what I really liked about TW1, was how you had to ask the right person the right questions to get useful information without risking your relationship/trust with that person. I missed those consequences in TW2, although I must admit, that Geralt is not a detective, but a little conspiracy here and there to discover would be interesting.

TW1's dialogue system had one thing that I considered a horrible flaw and I hope they don't ever bring it back: randomness. Certain dialogue options wouldn't give the same results when chosen ("Have I ever told you the definition of insanity?"-Vas) like for example when you talk to Shani in the hospital in the church building she had a chance to give you a bestiary entry for something in chapter 1 that you didn't really need anymore or for something that you haven't found yet that would actually be useful. I hated that.

I don't mind having to think through what I ask of an NPC, what I tell them and how I tell it to them. That gives NPCs more personality since they have likes and dislikes with palpable consequences that I have to consider... but making some of the results of conversations random was horrible.

Yes yes, I totally agree that it was far from perfect and often very frustrating, what I meant was that I hope to have more reasons than "just 36 different endings" to replay the game because I generally enjoy well-designed sidequests, NPCs that really serve a purpose and hope that you can discover a lot of hidden information and story-sidelines (is that a word?) under the surface of the maingame. Did any1 get what I mean? :)

Yeah, I get what you mean. I wouldn't worry about it, they did a really good job at creating this mesh of relations and happening between NPCs in previous games and I'd expect CDPR to continue with that. It seems that they're not really related and but you later find out there's a story underrneath it and it just makes the whole experience more satisfying when you make the connection yourself (like in TW1 with the Reverend's daughter that he drove off).

hm... it is not a flaw. You controlled Geralt, not the other NPCs... I don't felt it randomiless at all.

Hope the waters wont be empty with just us on one boat like it said before it would be nice to fill it with few merchant ships etc. Bandits on the sea? Dunno about bandits but maybe we could jump on the boat and clear the pest? Why not so quests on the sea like one of the merchants ask you to help him take care of the pirates that keeps attacking the merchant ships on the open waters, you travel on the big ship through the tick mist and get attacked by the pirates. Something to do on the waters other then just exploring and traveling.

Mermaids related quests maybe?

In the Sword of Destiny trailer I there's one scene at 2:04 showing a battle on the deck of a ship. I think Geralt uses a small boat to travel between the islands of Skellige so I dunno how much naval combat you'll get to experience there. I'm guessing the scene showcased in the trailer happens while traveling there from the mainland or in a port. A for mermaids we've already seen a glimpse of them in the trailer so we know they're in. It would be a wasted opportunity if CDPR didn't do something more elaborate with that so yeah, I do hope they'll have some quests involving them.

Here's an example of what I meant:
1. Load game save X
2. Talk to character
3. Pick dialogue option 1, get a number of new options and then pick dialogue option 2
4. Get a bestiary entry about creature ABC (that you almost surely already knew about)
5. Repeat steps 1-3 above.
6. Get a bestiary entry about creature XYZ (this one on the other hand is new and useful).

And it was completely random and you couldn't repeat the dialog sequence (only if you reloaded the save) so you'd get one or the other. Now this phenomenon wasn't wide spread, it was quite rare. But still I feel it's bad design.

I don't think they had this thing in TW2 and I hope they don't bring that back in TW3.

One thing that i really would like improved is the way monsters appear when you´re out in the wild. Usually they jut appear in front of you by making a sound or whatever. I´d love if you can make that feeling more intense. Like if a Drowner for example would attack you just all of a sudden and try dragging you down the water or something..? Anyway, create the feeling as if a creature could attack you anytime!

All I know is... The more variety of sounds and voice actors for monsters/bandits and other npc's in and out of combat the better.

I'd like to see Berengar again if you managed to keep him alive.

It took 6 tries to keep him alive during that fight in the first witcher! But I did it and I know others did too so it would be nice if it were possible for them to show Berengar in a way that makes sense.
