Yes since stealth didn't fit the game(and the TW2 sections were not all that great) it has been completely removed. It was actually mentioned like... last year?
My wishlist at this point consists of being able to drink a potion at any time and not having that god awful combat of The Witcher 2. That is all I ask. The Witcher 2 was a better game than the first in every aspect except those 2 and sadly they dragged the game into unplayable for me. I just wasn't enjoying it.
Have any of you thought of horse development/maintainance? Option to buy different breeds that achieve different stamina and max spped. Horses need a new horseshoe from time to time so you have to keep track of replacing them. A new saddle could improve your steering... stuff like that. cool?

I do not think your idea is stupid nor do I think it would hurt the game if it had some more in-depth systems in place similar to the ones you proposed. The part right here could potentially be an issue "Horses need a new horseshoe from time to time so you have to keep track of replacing them." I do not mind degradation in my games but I respect that it's not for everyone. If a feature like this was not balanced & implemented correctly it would quickly become more of a nuisance than a welcome addition. You may get your wish when it comes to at least swords however, if you watch the demo that was recently released, pay attention when they go into the preparation/character menu.
"Option to buy different breeds that achieve different stamina and max spped" Last time I checked, something akin to this will be in the game.
Here you go - "Yes, horse have characteristics which you can increase, and train your horse while your journey. You can saddle wild horse with axii, but she runs away after you get down. Geralt will talk with Roach, just like in "52 and half" trailer."
Swallow has changed its look, and I do find it odd that it has gone from blue to red, but the actual bottles changing shape isn't really a big deal (The "classic" bottle design is still there also, just look at the 'Recommended Potions' for the Griffin/Werewolf)
As for the Bombs, I can't find the stupid video where they showed off that specific inventory screen, but if those are all different bombs, then yea, that's really confusing. I personally don't take issue with the actual bomb icon design, just the ability to quickly tell them apart . The only possibility I can think of is that the same colors are the same bombs, they just haven't been stacked properly because the RED's don't know how to keep a tidy inventory If not, then that will get quite confusing and hopefully there is more color variation or even different icon designs to be able to easily tell bombs apart.
I feel like if anything that thread should have been merged into the 'Alchemy' thread, and frankly I don't see why it needed to be merged at all anyway.
Lately, while replying TW1 for nth time I still managed to see a new quest/scene/dialogues and I got an idea
Will there be a way to track your progress in the game?
What I mean is, for example, after you finish the game once, some sort of new option would become available in the menu, showing you how many endings you've seen so far, how many quests, scenes, etc. So you'd know exacly how much you are still missing and try to find it all. I'm sure it would increase the game's longevity, and there will always be hardcore players who won't rest untill they 100% everything.
I'd very much like to see somthing like that in the game, what do you guys think?
I'm 100% against this idea. I think this systemic numeric approach is actually destroying the "magic" of games and any sense of real exploration. The same "achievement driven approach" was already disastrous in Watch_Dogs. While I played the game I always thought something along the lines of "Hey, one thing less to do. X% still left." instead of "Hey, cool mission. I'm curious what this game has more to offer." We should really, really avoid giving up all the mysteries in games. A game based on numbers isn't relying on its own appeal, on the strength of the content to lure the player into it. It's based on the completionist appeal to get something done rather to just have fun with it. Imo that's a very poor game design approach and I don't want to see it spreading in modern gaming. It's already quite a disappointment that AC Unity (and probably every new Ubisoft game...) will feature this number and achievement driven game design approach in games based on strong narrative and storytelling...
If you really want to find out "how much there is left to see" just read a guide on the internet. It's actually not needed to give you numerical information into the game itself and robbing it of its mysteries...
I like unlocking cool video cutscenes over time, TW2 and Diablo lll RoS are both good examples of this.
The main option I really want with this feature, is a 'Play All' Option at the bottom.
I want to not only watch individual clips, but I would also like to sit back and watch All of them with out having to push play on my controller after each clip.
@LordCrash You completely missed my point. I don't know how it was in Watch Dogs, or any other game for that matter.
What I'm saying is I want to be able to check somewhere how much of the game I'm yet to see. I don't care about achievements or anything. It shouldn't be in any way forced on you. I just want to get the most I can out of the game, so for example AFTER I finish the game once, I'd like to be aware of how many endings are there left, they shouldn't be named or any clues given, just the fact that "you've seen 3 out of 15 endings" or something. Same thing with quest etc. I don't think you lose anything in that way. It's not making the game numerical... and you don't lose any mysteries. I guess you just have bad experiences with other games.
