I and many loved the photo mode in Shadow of Mordor,The Last of Us,Infamous etc so yeah it would be awesome if they include it in a free post launch dlc or something. I dont know how difficult it is to make but if they have the resources and time it would be an awesome feature.

maybe something like this?

It'd be cool if Geralt makes a little tent if he meditates in the woods for too long. I mean he already makes a campfire

If they can make it more natural and easy, I would be all for it. Odds are, if this dude made this for skyrim he or someone else will mod it for TW3. :)

I think some similar stuff will be in the game. I read some where that jumping into the waters around the Skellige islands (an icy nordic location) can kill you because it is so cold. similar stuff where you have to keep worm in cold climates, might possibly be in the game. it is the kind of stuff you might see in a hard core mode.

Controller mapping:
I would like to see controller custom mapping. They should let us remap the controller commands, and let us use the bumpers (xbox) or L1/R1 (playstation) as shift keys like TERA.

Using the bumpers as shift keys, give you as many buttons as a keyboard, with easier access while moving your character. You just need a controller map onscreen to show you what the current buttons are.

I would like quicker access to all the skills with direct buttons presses, no wheel or time slo mo.
There are 4 face buttons, 4 dpad buttons, 2 triggers and 2 stick buttons. That's 12 buttons without using bumpers, if you hold down left bumper that's another 12, hold down right bumper, that's another 12, hold down both bumpers that's another 12, for a total of 48 buttons (4x12).

More than enough to cover the combat skills and interaction, and all while being able to aim and move easily using the sticks. No memorization required as long as there is a small controller map at the bottom of the screen.

This works very well for an action game like TERA and could work for any 3rd person action game.

CDPR I know it is probably too late by this point as you have likely completely finished development, but here is what I sincerely have hoped you did for Witcher 3:

-I hope the story is still a huge focus and that the writing and character development is focused on. The world of the Witcher has always been fascinating along with the well developed characters and the greatly written dialogue.

-Hope that you guys didn't just do open world because it's the latest trend. I got very worried when I heard you guys were making it open world. The Witcher 1/2 weren't really open world and were both great games. They didn't really need to be open world in my opinion. I just hope the world is interesting to explore and that it's worthwhile to do so. Instead of there being like copy paste the same landscape for five miles with no interesting landmarks or anything of note to do in many of the areas.

-I hope Sidequests aren't going to be like MMO quests. Some basic sidequests are fine like slay 5 Ghouls, but I hope there's still a lot of sidequests that still have interesting choices you have to make in them. Choices that affect characters or the story of the game. Dragon Age Inquisition was a good game, but I felt it was held by a little by having extremely bland MMO type of sidequests with almost no story to them or significant gameplay other then kill 5 of this monster or collect 5 herbs etc.

-That the world is more like that of Witcher 1 in Witcher 3. Witcher 1 and 2 I both greatly enjoy, but 2 was missing that bleak atmosphere from the first game. In the first game you truly felt like Geralt was a outcast and discriminated against by society for being a Witcher. People fell to the plague, people got murdered and racism along with criminal activity was rampant everywhere. The setting felt unique in a game. Witcher 2 the NPC's didn't feel as interesting and the world felt too much like a generic fantasy RPG setting. However, with the game focusing on the Witchers again I see you guys probably making a return to more of the Witcher 1 style which is cool.

-Last, I hope the quest tracking and maps are a step up from Witcher 1. Witcher 1's quest tracking and maps I felt were overall better then Witcher 2. WItcher 2 the maps for areas seemed too basic, lacking in detail and sometimes I found myself wandering in circles for like 30 minutes trying to figure out where to go in a quest. One good example is the Drowner nest sidequest at the beginning of the Witcher 2. That one was a little irritating to finish because I kept having to run around a forest with no idea where to go. Mainly due to a lack of quest tracking. The map didn't help much and I couldn't figure out where the remaining nests were. I kept finding myself accidentally running in circles.

I'm a major fan of The Witcher series. I've replayed the first and second game over five times because I genuinely enjoy both of them so much. I also respect you all as developers for your 100% DRM free stance. I just hope that the open world aspect of Witcher 3 isn't going to completely change the game. I'm all for innovation, but I don't want a third game that feels completely out of place in The Witcher series.

I'd also want a story mode, kind of like what the full combat mod was trying to do. Where you can just play as the character and not worry about artificial rpg immersion breaking game mechanics.
There shouldn't be a skill tree, the skills should be obtained by trainers or power monuments.
If you want to increase or enhance your skills, you should practice with npcs like vesimir or other witchers in sparring sessions. That would be a lot more fun than staring at boring skill trees, and the npc's could show you what the skills actually do and what they are for, like trainers in real life. We could also stay in the open world and not in the menus.

We don't need all the useless mid range armor and weapons in shops, just make some cool quests to obtain the cool weapons and armor like in witcher 1 and 2 side quests.

Don't make the same mistake of giving us cool armor and skills late in the game where we hardly use them. Give us all the fun basic skills, and let us enhance the ones we like for our play style before midway so we can enjoy using them as long as possible.

I'd rather have all the fun skills at the start after a few training sessions with other witchers, and then take on the main quest and focus on the story feeling like a fully trained witcher. I't more immersive that way than having a drip feed of boring basic skills fighting easy enemies with gradual difficulty. You end up only having the deep combat for the last few hours of the game.

The witcher story is more than interesting enough, and doesn't need cheap level up ding rewards.

Great story is important, but you need to back it up with solid gameplay and make sure that people wont get bored by this 120 hours long game. This is rpg after all, game needs some kind of character progression system with unlockable powers and abilities to keep it fresh during playtrough.

Do you CD Project still aim to do the horse taming using an Axii sign mecanism you talked about some time ago?

Because in my humble opinion implementing that kind of gameplay element would be a waste of time when that same effort could be spend to simply make more evolving and meaningful relationship between Geralt and his existing horse Roach. Almost all games treat horses just as simple and replaceable means to go from point A to B and I am hoping you guys make Witcher 3 an exception of that lot.
After all, in the books Geralt´s "Roaches" were mostly his only companions in his long adventures and WItcher 3 should implement this.

So all in all I wouldn´t at all mind if Geralt was stuck with same "Roach" the whole game, as long as she had her own character and role in in cutscenes, quests and dialoque (Not expecting the horse to talk back to Geralt but I think you know what I mean::)). Maybe in the beginning you could decide which color Roach would be, for example if Geralt buys her from stables in Novigrad. But after that the horse would be Geralt´s to take care of.
But I quess if Geralt´s horse is killable in the game and taming is simply your solution to replace your fallen transportation I quess I´m okay with it........

Oh, also I hope that you are planning to make Dandelion a stronger character this time around. He was always quite strong persona in the books and i dont think it was appropriate for Geralt to outshine him in almost every situation and leave Dandelion himself just comic relief character all the time.

Is there a locked 30fps option ingame?

The reason im asking is because i want to get the best graphics and AA i can with a good locked 30fps. I know there are other ways u can do it but usually games that run well at 30fps have the option ingame. Is it because it means that developers have also optimized it specifically for locked 30fps?
PS. Please have the graphics options ingame. The W2 didn't if im not mistaken.

Because a lock option implemented in the game is far away better then the adaptive v-synch.
BTW, he can download MSI Afterburner and lock to 30 fps with RivaTuner.

Because unlocked fps can cause stuttering which is really annoying to some, especially when fps bounces between 30 and 60

No it's not actually as simple as that. Hunting for healing supplies isn't considered a challenge for some gamers, It's just an inconvenience. The only benefit I see to it is it discourages button mashing whilst encouraging you to play smarter. Thing is you can get the same effect by simply increasing the difficulty, so there's no point in doing it. At least in an rpg. Health regen wouldn't be suitable in a survival game for example, because the whole point of those games is to have to search for supplies.

it's a rpg , why don't put some store where you can buy Heal Potions ?
