You're probably right, I hope they take our thoughts into consideration when polishing or adding last minute stuffLet's just keep in mind that the game has finished production so now it's most likely that they're just polishing(PUN PUN PUNNNN) and doing minor stuff.
Yes but they've already confirmed that the skellige islands will be in the game, and between Novigrad and skellige there's lots of major cities like Cidaris and Gors Velen(really hope to see this one), Redenia's capital Tretegor is much closer to Novigrad than skellige so I imagine it wil be featured too, and I think that the swamp featured in the vgx trailer may be the swamp near Vizima so I think we may see vizima as well.Hmm, thanks for the info. Not what I wanted to hear exactly, but its good to know what the devs have revealed so far. I guess I won't get my hopes up for multiple cities, without Oxenfurt, it looks like the next closest city to Novigrad would be over 300 miles away :\
Novigrad and the surrounding area, No Man's Land (Northern Temeria) and the Skellige Islands have been confirmed. This will be much more realistic than Skyrim, so you can expect that the areas will be incredibly large on a realistic scale and not a 2 minute horse-ride between regions like Skyrim. Don't expect to be able to explore everything between Redania and Cintra because that would be ludicrously large and expensive on CDProjekt Red's behalf.Yes but they've already confirmed that the skellige islands will be in the game, and between Novigrad and skellige there's lots of major cities like Cidaris and Gors Velen(really hope to see this one), Redenia's capital Tretegor is much closer to Novigrad than skellige so I imagine it wil be featured too, and I think that the swamp featured in the vgx trailer may be the swamp near Vizima so I think we may see vizima as well.
So considering this and the fact that the map will be 20% bigger than skyrim I would say that the map's northernmost point would be somewhere near novigrad the westernmost would be the skellige islands, easternmost would be Mahakam and maybe a little further since they said locations form the witcher 2 would be featured(hopefully), and southernmost would be the yaruga. If you think of it most of the interesting things to see are in this area: Brokilon, Mount Carbon, Brenna, Thanned and Ellander, but unfortunately not Kaer Morhen and Dol Blanthana.
Not necessarily, a map that size would fit perfectly in the skyrim map if scaled correctly, besides there's not much to do just in northern temeria, and since we will see skellige and novigrad it makes no sense for them not to include brokiillon wich is in between, no man's land I imagine would be what was left of brugge, and temeria after the invasion.Don't expect to be able to explore everything between Redania and Cintra because that would be ludicrously large and expensive on CDProjekt Red's behalf.
What is it? This monster?A scene like this would be genius:

goood yeees please!!any chance of a contract on imperial manticore?
I don't know, it's just a drawing this guy made for some contest. What is it? This monster?
And I have a question.
Any chance of a contract on imperial manticore?
Doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose?Wishlist threads merged.
You nearly did. Luckily, I read to the end.pps- hope I don't get banned for the joke :troll:
No, makes it more likely that the devs will see it.Doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose?
Yes, that's even better. Also I feel it would be better if we stumbled upon the manticore in the lonely mountains rather than have a specific contract for it, something like that cartoon cutscene from TW2.
They are reading this thread? really? No, makes it more likely that the devs will see it.
They read, but don't usually answer questions. They are reading this thread? really?
Well, it'll depend. Changing things at last minute costs a LOT more than changing early in the development cycle, so it would take more than just some fans not liking it - this isn't a collaborative design, it's THEIR game first and foremost.2) What if we (fans) see actual gameplay and find some features or mechanics or anything else and vote for changing it? Like in W2 with Geralt's looks? Will CDPR listen to our voices? There are actually many things people get anxious about after reading/listening to news, some aspects of the game are not clear.
And we need some BIG news. Soon.![]()
I agree with you. I hope we won't have such problems.Well, it'll depend. Changing things at last minute costs a LOT more than changing early in the development cycle, so it would take more than just some fans not liking it - this isn't a collaborative design, it's THEIR game first and foremost.
But it happened with Geralt's Face in TW2, where there was a massive negative feedback.
