The motherfucking grid inventory, which should be *mandatory* for any RPG on PC. Not that "menu list" crap.gregski said:What's so great about Deus Ex:HR UI?
Oh yeah, wasting time trying to fit every item into those stupid squares, especially with a few bigger weapons in there was so much fun. Right.TucoBenedicto said:The motherfucking grid inventory, which should be *mandatory* for any RPG on PC. Not that "menu list" crap.
No.Jobbert said:If it's gonna be the final installment of the series, which I presume, I want Geralt to be pushed to the edge of his sanity and perhaps die.
If people want to have that as an option, sure why the heck not. Personally, I'm against it. Not him dying, mind you, but if it includes Geralt making some sort of an "heroic sacrifice" thing, then no. Can't really see it making sense, in these kind of setting taking place. Or perhaps it can, but either way, not a big fan of that type of scenario.Jobbert said:If it's gonna be the final installment of the series, which I presume, I want Geralt to be pushed to the edge of his sanity and perhaps die.
Since it's already been done once in the novels, trying to repeat the impact would just be tacky. You can only make a heroic sacrifice work once.Jobbert said:If it's gonna be the final installment of the series, which I presume, I want Geralt to be pushed to the edge of his sanity and perhaps die.
We're just gonna have to settle this with an arm wrestling match, Gregski.gregski said:Oh yeah, wasting time trying to fit every item into those stupid squares, especially with a few bigger weapons in there was so much fun. Right.
If the grid inventory is so good, DE:HR was the worst grid inventory I experienced in long time.
I didn't ask for this...slimgrin said:We're just gonna have to settle this with an arm wrestling match, Gregski.
Can we bet on it?slimgrin said:We're just gonna have to settle this with an arm wrestling match, Gregski.
You should try Merry Witchmas http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/Merry_Witchmas . It's unique.Crygie said:-Snow! Snow is amazing
Yeah, beside the fact that what you said is relatively untrue (you don't need to "try to fit any item" if you don't carry all the crap you find around), it's also completely irrelevant, as a grid inventory doesn't need to be necessarily limited in size.gregski said:Oh yeah, wasting time trying to fit every item into those stupid squares, especially with a few bigger weapons in there was so much fun. Well, but it WAS limited in DE:HR so I don't know why you put it as prime example of a great grid inventory.TucoBenedicto said:Yeah, beside the fact that what you said is relatively untrue (you don't need to "try to fit any item" if you don't carry all the crap you find around), it's also completely irrelevant, as a grid inventory doesn't need to be necessarily limited in size.
Risen 1 had a grid inventory without any limitation in size and weight, for instance.
Still, even the worst grid inventory in the world is by principle miles ahead of any idiotic menu-based one.
