Not to mention quicksaves

in the witcher 1, It would take my PC 5 minutes to load up the "load game" page because I has so many saves in there, mostly quicksaves. Oh, and I should mention, it took 5 minutes, with 12 gb of friggin RAM, so that's a problem. Either way I eventually got around to going to my saves folder (in "My Documents") and deleted every single save except for the most recent one. It cleared 11 gb from my computer. That means I had 11gb worth of witcher 1 saves on my PC :p

no multiplayer at all! it doesnt need it.

what i would like to see:

*more fluid animation with actions like vaulting up and down ledges
*a more streamlined menu/inventory system
*further dodge actions
*different or more complex mini-games
*slightly less nightmarish navigation

The motherfucking grid inventory, which should be *mandatory* for any RPG on PC. Not that "menu list" crap.

If I had to pick three and only three:

- Grid menu..yes, A FUCKING GRID MENU BECAUSE I HATE SCROLLING THROUGH RANDOM LISTS WITH A FUCKING PASSION. No offense to those that disagree, but you are all wrong, every single last one of you. :) A grid is made for mouse, and a piddly-ass list is made for a pad. If you want to scroll through an interminable set of lists, it should be on the console version. The. Fucking. End.

-No QTE's

-Refine and expand the dodging system.

Oh yeah, wasting time trying to fit every item into those stupid squares, especially with a few bigger weapons in there was so much fun. Right.

If the grid inventory is so good, DE:HR was the worst grid inventory I experienced in long time.

If it's gonna be the final installment of the series, which I presume, I want Geralt to be pushed to the edge of his sanity and perhaps die.

If people want to have that as an option, sure why the heck not. Personally, I'm against it. Not him dying, mind you, but if it includes Geralt making some sort of an "heroic sacrifice" thing, then no. Can't really see it making sense, in these kind of setting taking place. Or perhaps it can, but either way, not a big fan of that type of scenario.

Since it's already been done once in the novels, trying to repeat the impact would just be tacky. You can only make a heroic sacrifice work once.

Yeah, Geralt jumping into some RED/BLUE/GREEN teleport and dying, that would let CDPR sell gazillions of W3 probably.

Oh, wait.

Having Geralt die wold seriously cheapen the impact of all decisions he's made up to that point. Say the player has to choose between Triss and Yennefer by the end, wouldn't it make a much larger impact if he's gonna have to live with that choice for years instead of chickening out an hour later in the game?

You should try Merry Witchmas http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/Merry_Witchmas . It's unique.

Only thing I want is more side quests and monsters. Something like first Witchers Act I (village) in whole. That had such a nice atmosphere, quests and so on, loved it. For me, it seemed that Witcher 2 had very few side quest, but still enough to satisfy my apetite. Like all of us, hunger is coming once more, I want more and more....

Yeah, beside the fact that what you said is relatively untrue (you don't need to "try to fit any item" if you don't carry all the crap you find around), it's also completely irrelevant, as a grid inventory doesn't need to be necessarily limited in size.
Risen 1 had a grid inventory without any limitation in size and weight, for instance.

Still, even the worst grid inventory in the world is by principle miles ahead of any idiotic menu-based one.

Well, but it WAS limited in DE:HR so I don't know why you put it as prime example of a great grid inventory.

And following your logic, you don't have to carry all the crap you find around in TW2, just leave a few items so they all fit in the list so you don't have to scroll down and switch menus.
