Geralt will travel through big mountains and snowy locations... It only makes sense if NPC's could use things like sleds or kids sliding down the hills using sledges? Why not Geralt have some downhill mini game where he could slide down the hill. Dunno if skis fit the fantasy game but they were found long before first swords were melted 5000 B.C to be exact.

Dunno just a thought after watching winter olympics :)

A group of kids in Skellige playing that ice jump game that ciri played when she was little, now that would be a great easter egg for the book fans.

More armor, plate you wear slower Geralts attacks become. Stats attack speed decrease by % nothing major but noticible. Reason why you would take of your coat or some other unnecesery gear before fighting.
Just like in Witcher 2, you had to prepare to max out your chances.

Ability to fight without the shirt or top armor. When he receive damage, woulds and blood are visible on the upper body.

When you start the game your body has a little default scars and markings, progressing though out the game creates new pernament marks on the flash.

Tattoos? Like I alrady wrote, fighting without the shirt for being more agile and the look. I love my tattoos reason why I am asking.

Thanks.

For me, I would like:
1. bring back combat stances system like in TW1 with distinctive combo movements
2. a proper save game for PC standard, able to make more (not just one) profiles and save files
3. time HUD
4. longer potion effects (hourly)
5. better inventory like old rpg (square system)
6. fast travel system like in TW1 throughout map (portal location).
7. different camera styles and zooming
8. bring back combat pause system from TW1 (rather a strategic reason for me)
9. better UI system for journal, books, bestiary, locations, etc (I rather like TW1 than TW2 for this matter)
10. arena/survival mode but with already managed character profile for level, weapons, etc that could give us a reward items if we complete a challenges
11. more secondary equipments like charms, rings, more slot for trophies.
12. terrain effects character stats, (like maybe get cold in blizzard, slow movements in snow/mud/water, etc)

I want better voice acting in general for npcs, hookers, trolls, kids and monsters. I noticed in TW2 when I would pause the game in the middle of any voice acting dialog, it never paused the voice actors speaking. So when I un-paused the game I lost all the things they said. GTA V does a damn good job so I never miss a word they say.
Also, why does Geralt sound all stupid when he swings his swords and attacks? He sounds like a big dumb ass and it does not match Geralt's speaking voice at all.
I like Geralt's voice when he is talking, it kinda reminds me of Christopher Lambert in Highlander
. He would be perfect for Geralt if they ever lost the dude that does it now IMO. ;)

Better voice acting from prostitute* "Ohh, ahhh" C'mon, really?

Voice actors in Witcher 2 were fine, only thing worth changing or adding would be hiring few more voice actors.

@fracturedearth I agree, couldn't stand the same dude saying "They say witchers have no need to plough... did you know that" throughout the game.

Yeah and the kids are not kids wtf? We need more good voice acting variety in general, and real kids doing voice overs.

Continuing from the Release Date of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – An Open Letter thread, since I do not want to go off-topic any further.

You're using the same argument you used in this wishlist thread, well, guess what? Witchers might spend the night in an abandoned building or even on the streets or a field somewhere, if they don't have enough orens for a room at the inn or a friend in town. Look at the state Kaer Morhen is in (the closest thing the witchers of the wolf school have, that they might call "home"), and they only visit it when they really have to. Witchers are poor, they simply cannot own a home, even if they wanted to (although it wouldn't make sense with their profession and all).

People unfamiliar with the previous games and it's lore(or for some reason refuse to understand): things in the game have to make SENSE. The Witcher games are story-driven, sure CDPR have creative control, but they understand that they have to stay true to the books, and have said time and time again that they are. So if that's the case, Geralt WILL NOT be dual wielding his swords, own a house, use bows, have homosexual tendencies, etc. And CDPR DOES NOT want a Skyrim clone, that means no random generated fetch quests and the sort. These games are all about hand crafted quests, made with care, like a game should be.

Now, for people saying "oh, but you don't have to do any of these things if they do not suit you, they're optional", what they fail to understand is that these things, while optional, take time and resources to make. I would much rather want CDPR to spend their time making things that fit the game setting, systems that make sense for the game and that work properly, instead of focusing resources on making a functional bow system or housing system.

If you want Skyrim that bad, go play Skyrim.

i dont want to just play skyrim... I want to play RP G games... not a blindfold game with one way trip, a book that lucks in details. I am bored already. And can I ask something? You say witcher cannot have a home because of his profession.. what a statement.. You mean all RP games with housing, dont do these things?

Witcher the way you describe it, is far away from RPg game.. its an action adventure and thats how it should be advertised. The way that you claim, CDPR DOES NOT TO... Yes, I may avoid it, I may not play skyrim, many games with true RPg elements are coming along with the witcher. I dont like action adventures like lara croft, you cannot call it RPG.. based in 1 way trip/book.. . I love rpg games.

"Witcher is an adventure game"
"I want to play RP G games... not a blindfold game with one way trip, a book that lucks in details."
So you call, a game like the Witcher, that had a very complex story line, with multiple choices and endings and a lot of care put into the details, a one way trip, like a book? I'm sorry, but that's just impossibly stupid.

I think you don't really get what an RPG game is, do you?

In Witcher, you play a role of Geralt of Rivia. You are free to make whatever choices you like, but it has to make sense. That's why he wouldn't have a home, or a gay lover or fight with a lightning hammer, just because you think it would epic. It creates an opportunity to create a complex world and characters. That's why Witcher franchise is praised for having very good story, deep characters and believable world and Skyrim is considered a fun sandbox game with a depth of a puddle and basically no story what so ever.
