Imagine it's night and there is snow everywhere on the ground, tree branches and even on Geralt's cloak. He is knee deep in snow holding onto Roach's (his horse) reins trying to lead him through the snow. The wind is strong and it's kicking the snow in air from the ground and trees, so Geralt is covering his nose and mouth with his other hand. There is a long trail behind him in the snow reminding you how far you've come. You could see the full moon behind the snow haze, and you hear wolves crying. You start to think that it's any minute that Geralt and Roach are going to get attacked by a pack of wolves or even a werewolf. At last you see a light in the distance piercing through the snow, which looks like lantern light. As you get closer you see that it's a tavern with light coming out of it's windows. You hear the wolf cries again, but it draws closer and closer. It is not wise to look for a fight when Geralt is knee deep in the snow hindering his movement and not allowing him to deliver fast and swift blows to his enemies and parry their attacks. You look back and it's hard to see in the distance because of the haze. The Inn is now near and Geralt can smell the burning wood, the food, and the ale. You take Roach to the stable. you go back out and open the door to the tavern, finally you feel safe. You hear the bard singing, you see players rolling dice, a group of people fist fighting, others drinking and eating, some drunkards tumbling around the place, and pretty servants serving food and drinks.

Snow and winter has it's own charm, so I like to have the best of both snow and green nature. I'd really like to see change of seasons in Witcher 3.
