What does Avallac'h know from books? Did he really deceive everyone?:

Avallac'h. His full name is Crevan Espane aep Caomhan Macha. Unicorns call him «Fox» (you can draw an analogy, a person is called «Fox» when he is cunning about something). Avallac'h himself had experimented with the Elder Blood gene long before the human sorcerers. The result of these experiments among the elves was the legendary Lara Dorren, whom Avallac'h loved, and Lara Dorren herself fell in love with Kregennan of Leda. He was a man and a sorcerer. Cirilla is essentially a copy of Lara Dorren, who also has the gene of the Older Blood.

Lara Dorren aep Shiadhal.

Briefly from the books:
When a girl enters the Swallow Tower, Krevan becomes the first person to meet her. He tells the girl about a new world for her and about the Destination to which she has finally come. The purpose is that Ciri should give birth to a child of the Alder People, thereby returning to them the long-lost gene of the Elder Blood and the ability to move freely between worlds. Ciri is disgusted by such a role, but Avallak'h confronts her with the fact that she will not leave the world of Aen Elle if she does not fulfill this condition. During a trip to Tyr on Lia, unicorns are going to attack Avallak'ha, probably in an attempt to recapture Ciri, because of which the elf even shows concern, but they are saved by Red Riders led by Eredin Breacc Glas.

The commander of the horsemen notices that the Knowledgeable Person is now his debtor for the service rendered, briefly talks with Ciri and Krevan, and then leaves for the capital. Shortly after arriving in Tir na Lia, Cirilla and Auberon Muirketach, the King of Alders, try several times to conceive a child, but due to the advanced age of the elf – more than 650 years-they do not succeed. Nevertheless, Avallac'h is not at all embarrassed and asks Ciri to be patient. After another unsuccessful time, Ciri, in a fit of feelings, inflicts an insult to the Knowledgeable, unflattering comments about Lara Dorren, which causes a furious reaction from Avallac'h, who loses his usual composure, but then still forgives the girl rash words. However, later everything goes not according to the plan of the elves: The King dies, and Cirilla manages to escape. In the game, there is only a mention in the dialogue with Ge'els that Avallac'h put Cirilla under the bed of Auberon. Geralt also warns Ciri that Avallac'h may ask for a return favor at one point. So most likely, in the end, Avallac'h needs the same thing from Ciri that the others need-her child.
Although I have another thought about this…

Avallac'h. Unicorns call him «The Fox».

Let's recall Eredin's famous phrase:
«Avallac'h deceived us both. He turned us against each other… And he took Cirilla himself». In the final quest of the game «The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt», Avallac'h opens the gate to Tor Gvalch'ka (the Falcon Tower) and creates a new Pairing of Spheres, releasing thousands of different monsters on Skellig into the world of Neverland. You are now, for sure, say: «How is it? Avallak'h helps Cirilla stop the White Flood». I strongly disagree with this opinion! I believe that Avallac'h did not open a portal to the world of White Blood. He created a magical illusion and received the power of Cirilla. This explains his abrupt disappearance after Zirael enters the tower. Avallac'h has teleported to the world of Aen Elle and is preparing for an invasion.
Perhaps, in the fourth part of the game, he will become the main antagonist.

Who will fulfill orders for monsters after Pairing the Spheres? Geralt from Rivia retired to Corvo Bianco/Kovir, Letho from Guleta went to Zerricania and is hiding from Nilfgaard, Lambert and Keira almost settled in Corvo Bianco (this can be found in the trailer for the 10th anniversary), Eskel also left Kaer Morhen and travels around the world, perhaps also settled in Toussaint and has an affair with Sianna. As for the fate of Ivo of Belhaven and the other witchers, their fate is unknown. Everyone knows that witcher schools no longer release monster killers into the world. There is also no support for wizards, the secrets of witcher mutations are lost. I had an idea on this score, which many players will even really like. Pairing Spheres is a good opportunity to create multiplayer (after the story campaign of the fourth part of the game, of course. By the way, there are rumors that the developers of CD Project RED are planning to create a multi-player for CyberPunk 2077). And for the resumption of witcher secrets, the legendary book of Alzur's research is needed. The book is also in the possession of Triss Merigold or Azar Yaved (depending on the player's choice in the first part of the game). Although it is considered a canonical game passage to expose Azar Yaved in CHAPTER II, and in this case the book will be in Triss Merigold's possession. Unfortunately, in the second and third parts of the game, not a word is said about the book of Alzur, perhaps the developers forgot about it, but it's a pity, because it could be a good plot twist. It is only known that in the third part of the game, in the house of Triss in Novigrad, you can find a lot of books with information about witchers. We'll talk about this later…

What does Itlina's Prophecy say there? The Prophecy of the King of Kings:

Itlina's prophecy: According to Itlina's prophecy, an ice age will come in the world and all living things will perish. Only the elves saved by Luned aep Hen Ichaer — the Swallow-will survive. The destruction of the world will be foreshadowed by numerous signs, which include wars, epidemics and the extermination of the elven race. The Hour of Contempt, the Hour of the Axe, the Wolf Blizzard can be interpreted as a long war or a return to barbarism. In the set of additions «Blood and Wine» according to the chronology of Neverland, the year 1275 came. If we follow the logic, then the Age of the Sword and the Axe will end in 1300.

IMPORTANT: Somewhere there was a mention that it is getting colder in Kovir, and some grape varieties have stopped growing in Toussaint (I don't remember in the game or in Gwint). That is, we can say more confidently that the White Flood is gaining and spreading its power, and Avallak'h still deceived.

The prophecy about the King of Kings (about the ruler of the whole world): In short, Cirilla should give birth to a child who will rule the whole world. Possible candidates: Hjalmar/General Morvran Voorhis/Emgyr var Emreis. Yes, Emgyr was looking for Cirilla for only one reason: to conceive a magical child so that he would rule the world.

IMPORTANT: Only Emgyr var Emreis himself knows about this prophecy according to the plot.
==================================================================================================================
A VERY INTERESTING FACT about Ciri:

Did you know that in the literary saga there is such a character as a Fake Ciri? I think most players don't even know about this character. This character does not appear in the trilogy, only in the card game «GWINT».

What is known about this character from the books?:

The Fake Ciri is a girl from a Cintrian noble family who was left an orphan after the first war with Nilfgaard. After wandering in refugee camps, she was sheltered by a certain cloth worker from Bruges. She turned out to be very similar to Ciri, and it was because of this that Codringer noticed the girl, who tried to use her to distract the hunters from the real Cirilla.
Later, the half-elf Shirru, on the orders of Riens, having killed Codringer and his partner Fenn, found records about the False Ciri and decided to make money on it: kidnap the girl and bring her to the Emperor of Nilfgaard under the guise of a real Cintrian princess. Emgyr, of course, at first glance exposed the substitution, but did not show it, leaving the girl to live at the court. Stella Congreve taught her manners, court etiquette, and eventually — at the end of the saga-she became the ruler of the imperial province of Cintra and the wife of Emgyr.
1630946148625.png

Fake Ciri.

Who will be the main character in the fourth part?:

If we consider the series of books «The Witcher» and the words of Andrzej Sapkowski, we can recall his phrase: «This is a story about a white-haired witcher and a Child of Surprise, whose name is Ciri», then we can say with confidence that the main character over whom the whole plot will revolve will be Cirilla Fiona Helen Rhiannon herself. In the third part, there are three endings with Ciri: 1) The Witcher. 2) The Empress. 3) Went missing. If you develop a plot with her, then the third option can not be considered, since she is considered dead. In terms of the plot, I think that the developers will make a «knight move», that is, the real Ciri will make friends with the Fake Cirilla and the false one will impersonate the real one (the author's guesses) (it seems that somewhere I have already seen this in some movie about the Middle Ages, it seems to be called «Scary Tales», only there are two twin brothers). It may be that there will be no simulation of solutions at all. This is the most profitable option for developers to freely develop the plot.

What about the canon?: Radovid should live on and kill Philippa (the date of her death is 1272-1276, at the end of the wizard hunt) (this is confirmed in the card game «GWINT»), Emgyr var Emreis himself should die in 1290 (according to the book canon), you can also find out from the books that Emgyr will marry a False Cirilla. In the game, Emgyr will die anyway, if you do not kill Radovid and Dijkstra, which is contrary to the canon. So that you can not consider the book canon. As for Triss and Yennefer? Then everything is simple here! The developers have repeatedly said that the story of the character Geralt from Rivia is over. As for Triss? I can only say that ALL the series of games were dedicated to her and Geralt, especially the first and second parts (where a stormy romance takes place) and where Triss acts, almost the main character, after Geralt, of course. Yennefer was shown only in the third part of the game, and she was poorly revealed (her good sides were not shown, only her bitchy character). I think that the developers will continue to develop Yennefer as a character. As for Geralt and Triss? Perhaps they will show Geralt in two or three quests, say a couple of dialogues about Triss and that's it. Yennefer from Vengerberg should play a big role in the fourth part of the game, since she is the «mother» of Cirilla.

Open World:

Kovir and Powiss must be involved as the main competitor of Nilfgaard in terms of economy, as well as Mahakam, Zerrikania, Ophir (but this is not accurate), the capital of Nilfgaard, and so on. Maybe even other worlds, but this is just a guess.

The main plot:

Use the book of Alzur, the restoration of the witcher schools, show the last war between humans and inhumans, show a new life after the Pairing of the Spheres caused by Avallac'h.

About the simulation of solutions in the fourth part:

In the third part of the game, the player literally decided the fate of the entire continent. The player can choose who to appoint as the king of Skellige, influence the end of the Third War (be the cause of Radovid's death/Emhyra/Sigismund Dijkstra), influence the fate of Cirilla and decide with whom Geralt will spend the rest of his life.
Let's face it. Many will think that thanks to the import from the third part to the fourth, the world will completely change. But, no matter how much you want it, it will not happen. Think for yourself: no one will bother with all the branches of the plot. The developers will develop only a certain branch of the plot, which they consider necessary. A clear example: when importing a save, with the choice of Shani, in the first part of the game, Geralt in the second part, regardless of the player's choice, will be with Triss. We can also say about the ending of the first part of the game. The ending for "neutrality" is canonical, since it is in it that Triss Merigold becomes an adviser to King Foltest. In any ending from the first part, in the second part of the game, Triss will be an adviser to the king of Temeria. You can list a lot: the unknown fate of Anais (Roche's path when importing from the second part to the third), the absence of Adda in the third part of the game (even if you save her life in the first, although without importing from the first to the second, she is automatically considered dead) and so on…

Gameplay:

If Cirilla is the main character, then witcher elixirs will be unavailable. Why? Yes, because they are deadly for ordinary people! Perhaps the developers will make that Ciri lost her strength due to the cunning of Avallac'h, and as the plot develops, the player will gradually restore strength and swing the special abilities of this character.

Who is Alzur? What did he create?:
1630603419877.png

Alzur from Maribor is a character mentioned in a literary saga and a game series, a powerful and famous sorcerer of the past, a student of Cosimo Malaspina and a teacher of Idarran from Ulivo.

For his incredible achievements and incomparable magical power, Alzur is considered the greatest human magician who has ever set foot on the Continent. In addition to the usual magic for other magicians and knowledge of standard arcana, he had extensive experience in creating living creatures and the most famous man – made monsters: Chimeras, Kashchei and Viya-and was also the author of many magic formulas and spells: the Double Cross of Alzur, Thunder of Alzur, Shield of Alzur and others. In addition, it was the unique knowledge in the fields of genetics and artificial mutagenesis that allowed Alzur and his teacher to develop witcher mutations. For his research interests and opposition to the Brotherhood and the Chapter, Alzur was reputed to be a rebel, a renegade and an exile. He was also knighted at some point in his life.

Alzur's achievements are also attributed to the ability to reach the so-called hidden plans and summon and control demons, subjugating them and comprehending their secrets and knowledge. In addition, he is the author of a book about the creation of magical monsters, «Double Cross», which his colleagues censored and published under the title «Double Cross of Alzur».

Text:

«I was vested with the thankless responsibility of preparing a new edition of the incomplete tome of Alzur (some of its pages have been torn out), which describes the methods of creating monstrous beasts. Whoever remembers the koshchey or the viy of Maribor knows the evil the book has caused, especially the Double Cross of Alzur described therein. The following edition provides information on creatures such as the frightener or the koshchey, but does not contain the secrets of creating these beasts. To ensure safety, I would nevertheless suggest that readers never utter any formulae outloud and speak all vowels while inhaling».

Geralt can find this book in:
  • In the fourth chapter — at Julian's, in a village tavern, in the Darkwater.
  • In the fifth chapter — in Kalkstein's laboratory, in Staraya Vyzima.

The last creation of the master-Viy, and killed its creator in Maribor, after which the monster destroyed part of the city and escaped to the District.

The «WITCHER» Game:

1630603151583.png
CHAPTER II:
The quest «Secrets of Vyzima».

Once in Vyzima, Geralt decides to start an investigation in order to identify Azar Yaved and his henchmen in Vyzima. However, one witcher can not cope, and he resorts to the help of a private detective Raymond. In the process of completing the quest, it will be discovered that Detective Raymond was replaced by Yaved himself.

Suspicions can be identified as follows: After a certain period of time after meeting Raymond, the situation at his house will change a little, and Geralt's amulet will begin to vibrate when the witcher is near the detective, which usually indicates danger. The reason for this is the murder of Raymond by a renegade wizard, Azar Yaved, and the magician's adoption of his appearance.

There are two ways to complete the quest:

Option №1: Blindly follow all the «advice» and instructions of the Pseudo-Raymond. And then regret it very much, at the end of the second and third chapters. As a result, Geralt loses in the swamps, and Azar Yaved takes the book from the tower, as a result of which, according to the quest of the third chapter "Unforgiven", Alzur's shield will protect the Professor.

Option №2: Conduct your own investigation. First, with the help of Shani, it is necessary to conduct an autopsy of one of the members of the criminal organization" Salamander " and choose the right actions. If everything is chosen correctly, Shani will open the skull of the dead man, and Geralt will see the larvae of the Zerrican fly tse-tse, which will prompt him to think that Azar Yaved is deceiving and manipulating Geralt. The witcher should also go to the cemetery and find the corpse of the real Raymond. As a result, Geralt wins in the swamps and takes the book from the tower for himself, as a result of which, according to the quest of the third chapter "Unforgiven", the shield of Alzur will protect Geralt. And Triss Merigold will cast this magic shield, which is very possible in a boss battle.

Bottom line: In both versions, Azar Yaved together with the Professor initiate a battle with Geralt. The victory was on the side of the witcher, and the opponents, knowing this, poison him with a flask of Zerrican scorpion venom, after which, again, depending on the actions of the White Wolf, they will either take some things from the tower and leave or run away in a panic through the portal, leaving everything in the tower.

What do we have? In the first version of the passage, Azar Yaved will have the book of Alzur, and in the second, Triss Merigold will have it.

1630603002581.png
CHAPTER III:
Depending on how the investigation ended in chapter II, this Shield of Alzur provides an advantage in battle to either Geralt or Azar Yavedu.
  • If the book of the wizard from the tower went to the witcher, then Triss Merigold puts the Alzur Shield on him.
  • If the investigation went the wrong way, Azar Yaved gets the book and puts a Shield on the Professor.
1630602976044.png
EPILOGUE:

If Geralt gave Alvin to Triss, then she puts an Alzur Shield on the witcher to protect him from the dangers of the Icy Wasteland.
1630602929597.png

Alzur's shield.

What is known about the book from the marshes? Why is there such an accent around her?:

The book of the magician from the tower, it is also the LEGENDARY book of Alzur's research.
The Book of Alzur is an ancient magical treatise that describes the forgotten secrets of Alzur and rituals that accelerate the growth of creatures, as well as reveals the secret of the magical spells of Thunder and Shield.

Text:

Regardless of all his madness, Alzur managed to arrive at some surprising results. He came to the conclusion that he would discover the secrets of animating inanimate matter when he learned to animate energy. According to Alzur, a golem would work only when filled with living power that would imitate a divine pneuma - a soul. The wizard did not have a chance to finish his research but his experiments revealed the secret of the Thunder and Shield spells. Alzur was able to summon living lightning capable of locating and following its target, and a living shield capable of releasing such lightning. The fools would only see his discoveries as weapons even more powerful than the viy of Maribor or the infamous koshchey. However, I can clearly see that Alzur's Thunder is yet another stop on the path leading to creating a perfect being.

Location:

Geralt can find this book in the chest as soon as the witcher gets into the tower.

To sum up: If the book remains with Triss Merigold, then she is in great danger. But where, then, did she hide the book? In the second and third parts of the game, even with the import of the saves of the previous parts, there is not a single word about it. Maybe she forgot in Novigrad, in the house, as well as the Rose of Memory, because she was in a hurry? Maybe! Also inside the house of Triss you can find many different books: "Conjugation of Spheres", "Witchers, or the devil is not so terrible", " Witcher signs "(two pieces), "His Majesty Emgyr var Emreis", "Interview with a vampire", "Brother Adalbert's Bestiary", which is a small reference to the fact that Triss is very interested in the nature of witchers, but rather Geralt himself. But the joke is that there is no Alzur book itself. Perhaps the developers missed this moment, but it's a pity, since it would be a very powerful move for the plot in the 4th part of the game.

If the book remains with Azar Yaved, then it may well be hidden somewhere in the laboratory, in the swamps of Vyzima, although it is nowhere in CHAPTER V!
1630602806761.png

Interesting facts: Fact 1. Al Zour was born in Maribor. Triss Merigold was also born in Maribor. A coincidence? I don't think so! Also, the canonical-game passage is considered that Alvin remains with Triss, and Geralt exposed Azar Yaved. Well, the ending is for neutrality. Which may suggest that Alzur's book is somehow connected with the red-haired sorceress (and this is a good opportunity for plot development). Fact 2. It was the spell Thunder Alzura (aka Peron Alzura) that Yennefer from Vengerberg and Triss Merigold wanted to embody this spell during the pogrom in Rivia, in 1268, but "Hail Marigold" came out.

P.S: The information is taken from Wikipedia and the personal thoughts of the author of the topic. Hyperlinks are used. In general, anyone who has read all the books and played all parts of the games will understand what is the matter.
This information is only the imagination of the author of this topic. Do not take it seriously. What do you think the developers will do in the next game? I am happy to read your comments and I am ready to discuss them with you!

The next Witcher game might be something entirely different and unrelated to the events of the 3 games. I think that's for the best, I'm satisfied and happy that the main plot of all three games is nicely completed from start to finish. Trying to push further into events following the Witcher 3 doesn't interest me. To me, The Witcher 3 marks the end of witchers as we know them.

Originally when considering making a Witcher game, they were potentially going to have the main character be a new Witcher, possibly even custom created by the player, but I'm not sure I'm sold on that idea. A custom character might cheapen the experience, whereas recognized characters with a history like Geralt and Ciri add so much more depth to the plot. Having a game about Ciri specifically would be interesting. I'd like to see what Ciri's story was like before the events of Witcher 3 while Geralt was off in Temeria and Aedirn.

Ciri had entered the world of Arthurian Legend, and that's where the author, Sapkowski had left her. I want to see what worlds she visited. That would be fascinating. I really enjoyed the part of TW3 when Geralt follows Avallach through time and into other worlds. I'd like to experience a plot that follows Ciri as she worked towards saving Geralt from the wild hunt and what she went through. All of that would make for an epic plot.

I want to see witchers in action together. Imo, Geralt's story ended happly in corvo bianco. Next game should be set in the golden days of the witchers. Training young dudes as your witcher companons would be fun.

View attachment 11250898 CHAPTER III: Depending on how the investigation ended in chapter II, this Shield of Alzur provides an advantage in battle to either Geralt or Azar Yavedu.
  • If the book of the wizard from the tower went to the witcher, then Triss Merigold puts the Alzur Shield on him.
  • If the investigation went the wrong way, Azar Yaved gets the book and puts a Shield on the Professor.

If Geralt gave Alvin to Triss, then she puts an Alzur Shield on the witcher to protect him from the dangers of the Icy Wasteland.

This information is only the imagination of the author of this topic. Do not take it seriously. What do you think the developers will do in the next game? I am happy to read your comments and I am ready to discuss them with you!
Your Ideas are very amazing! But just like @Gerbs7 said, I don't think that this new game is related to the events of the three games. However, what I really want to see is Nilfgaard. More Nilfgaard. I want to visit the city of golden towers! The way Isbel in Thronebreaker described The golden towers, The grand Amphitheatre and Nilfgaard in general, was amazing. I really want to see the city in the upcoming game.

I really want to see the city in the upcoming game.
For my part, I hope there is a fair balance between natural and built settings. I know some players enjoy city scenes, but I've always preferred green forests, lush meadows, wooded mountains -- wild, growing beauty. I also hope it won't be a game set entirely in featureless snow, or, worse still, wasteland desert.

I think the same, I liked the composition of the witcher 3 because there is a combination between cities and nature (giving more priority to nature) what I really would like for the next game to remain similar to the witcher 3
