Good news. Thing is for me personally, by the time they'll be out I'll have read the saga twice already, via fan translations, so I'm not sure I'll bother reading them anytime around their release. Maybe very far in the future, if I'll be in the mood to read them again. But I rarely read the same book twice, and I've never read the same book three times.

Yes! It's about time. I guess now would be the time to actually buy the books already available.

The Official ones are excellent in my honest opinion, but, some of the fan translations (especially the fan translation of the Lady of the Lake book) has a lot of grammatical mistakes, but it is good enough :p

Just go ahead and read the fan translations, it will be a while until all the books are officially translated into English anyway.

It got better. The original was a bit rougher than the current version(s) derived from it.

Well for me this is great news . At least now there is a time frame whereas before it was who the hell knows when they will be translated . Hehehe I guess they forgot about Season of Storms and that it is a continuation of Geralt`s saga . :p

Do finish them before playing Witcher 3, trust me, Witcher 3 will be that much better ;)

While this is good news, for those who haven't read the books, I highly recommend the fan translations, they are quite readable. :)

As for me, I shall do a second read through once the full translations are available.

I'd probably never read them since Ive already gone through the fan translations, but I'd buy them anyway just to have the complete set on the book shelf.

I can say French's translation by Laurence Dièvre in Fantasy Pocket edition is very good, probably better than the English ones. I had the chance to buy it in a library. 7 books, first tome is "The Last Wish" (Le Dernier Vœu), second "The Sword of Destiny" (L’Épée de la Providence). The covers are from CD Project.
