It's good to have you back!
More likely that they changed the eye color and the cosplayer followed suit with contact lenses. Not sure why, since they were green as green earlier. Her facial structure is more like the TW2 version than the model to me. In the end, I guess I really like them both. I also appreciate that they've toned down the makeup with all the ladies and given them a more natural look. Probably the result of an improved engine. Someone at CDPR has a nice fashion sense. Loving the colors.Just like the cosplayer....

Still prefer the old model. *flies away*
The cosplayer's natural eye color is light hazel. You might call it coincidence, but I don't think so. There's literally no reason for the eye color change, books version Triss has blue eyes, previous games Triss has green. Where did light hazel come from all of a sudden?More likely that they changed the eye color and the cosplayer followed suit with contact lenses. Not sure why, since they were green as green earlier. Maybe because she's a sorceress, and can mask her scars and change eye color? The cosplayer's natural eye color is light hazel. You might call it coincidence, but I don't think so. Again, she can't use magic on herselfMaybe because she's a sorceress, and can mask her scars and change eye color?
If they explain that in the game, I will deal with it.

If there is a change of mind concerning the low neckline I want a proper explanation of it in the game, giving Triss' character the credit it deserves. Her biggest scar is of mental, not physical nature, as some people rightfully already pointed out. That COULD change due to the experiences Triss made in the books and the games. But that's just speculation and it was never explained in any way, neither in detail nor subtly. Without such explanation her low neckline is IMO more about the eye-candy than anything else. She says that in the early books, when she is afraid... which she remains through all of the books... until the end of Lady of the Lake. There she stands side by side with Yennefer and faces her death and her fears... standing on "the hill" as at Sodden again.
I'm perfectly happy with her being different in the games than her declarations in Blood of Elves, she has changed.
As for the "scars", I personally think that like Yennefer's eyes, they are the result of PTSD and mental scars, rather than the physical scars which have been healed and the body regenerated. She regained consciousness at Sodden, in the remains of one sorcerer, and next to the dismembered but still dying remains of another... and is remembered on the memorial at Sodden as 'dead'... that kind of thing ...changes you. As does re-facing that situation when terrified and triumphing.
Greenish hazel ≠ proper green like in the previous games/SoD trailerhazel - "reddish-brown or greenish-brown color, especially of someone's eyes." So it looks it's still can be green-ish, just like in the SOD trailer.

I know it should be blue, but it's ok with me.
There's no point just randomly giving her a scar now and they're not about to explain it if they didn't bother in either of the previous two games. If there is a change of mind concerning the low neckline I want a proper explanation of it in the game, giving Triss' character the credit it deserves. Yeah, i agree. I was saying the exact same thing pretty-much in the thread about Triss's neckline, and got shot down in flames. Same as when i commented on Ciri's high heels. If there is a change of mind concerning the low neckline I want a proper explanation of it in the game, giving Triss' character the credit it deserves. Wow really? Gees... I'm sorry, but i find this comment really offensive. Maybe I'm just too 'sensitive', but this is the exact reason why Ciri's heels and showing her bra are wrong, why Triss's low cut top is wrong, and why i'm disappointed in CDPR for chosing to take this direction. If girls/women who will colplay Triss has a small breast better they fill the front-upper bodice with a generous latex prosthesis pectoral![]()
