I actually think that kind of conversation would be a brilliant 'travelling' conversation, like if you're walking/riding to some quest location with Triss and Geralt just happens to bring it up as a, "I never bothered to ask but..." (Kind of like all the interesting conversations as you rode in Red Dead Redemption)So it would be very appreciated if CDPR captured the whole issue and explain how Triss got over her mental problems. That would also give her more depth as a character. So even if the issue wasn't a topic in the previous games it could be one now in this game, in the game about Geralt and the people he love and like, Triss being one of them. With Witcher 3 being aimed as the game which is much more personal for Geralt this would be a perfect topic for Triss. Who knows, maybe her contact with Geralt in Witcher 1 and 2 gave her enough strength to finally be able again to have a natural relationship with her body and breast zone (not only for Geralt like in W2 but also in public)? That would make a perfect starting point for a good, intimate conversation between Triss and Geralt or maybe between Triss and Yen...![]()
However I just don't think it's necessary and if it's never explained, I don't see the issue.
Also I'm sure the minor changes CDPR have made to characters counts as them "doing better" (At least to them), but something like giving Triss a big scar on her chest? That's odd and jarring when it randomly appears in the third game. It would be like if Geralt all of a sudden gained a second massive scar running down the right side of the face, it'd be super weird.
I know this is something that's lore related, and that always brings more into the discussion, but in this case, it's something that CDPR have omitted from the very start, and it's something that would actually do more harm then good if they brought it in suddenly.
