saved games are untouched (but if you wanna be sure, just copy them to a different folder and move them back after) eace: I've reinstalled at least half a dozen times (because of d'jinni!)

will I lose my game progress with a full reinstall and no mods? it takes me forever to play through, I don't want to end up with an unplayable savegame....

backup your savegames just to be sureuninstall game ( keep savegames when asked )delete the game folderif you have the original game version from 2007:

• install the game at version 1.0
• patch directly to 1.4

if you have the Enhanced game version from 2008:

• install the game at version 1.4 from the DVDs

apply hotfix 2.3playthose mods don't have compatibility problems on new/old games as far as i know so i guess you have any problems regarding that part

I believe they were forced to ship without to pass the US censors ;D ... but if you upgrade an original copy online, that patch is already part of the upgrade eace:
