I would probably not buy because you can get it for free and I am still a student do even 15€ is enough many to not buy it for just the extras if you can all download for free. Eventhough I wont buy that, I am interested in what the future brings of you guys
"I would probably buy it."I own the collector's edition so some content like the soundtrack CD for example is already mine but I see buying the upgrade pack as an additional way to thank and support CDPR for this great game, how they support it and how they include the community.
Hi!I dont know yet if i will buy it, because I got the special edition of wicther. And I will pay 15€ for the ungrade only :The new Content of the set :- New game box (I have one yet from special edition)- Patch that turns standard ‘The Witcher’ into the Enhanced Edition (Thats New)- Bonus DVD with new adventures and D’jinni editor (Thats New)- Game manual (I have one yet from especial edition)- Game guide (I have one yet from the web)- Remastered ‘Making of The Witcher’ DVD with additional content (I have one yet from especial edition)- ‘Inspired by The Witcher’ Music CD- Soundtrack CD (I have one yet from especial edition)- Map of the world (I have one yet from especial edition)- Andrzej Sapkowski’s short story ... (I have all books of Geralt... Is it a new story or not? Maybe new?)For that I stil thinking if will buy it or not. I have the normal edition I´ll get sure but for the people who got the special its no soo interesting to spent for few new things. And what do I will do with two dvd, two maps, two manuals, etc....?
Hmmmm...this is a pretty good idea.I currently own the uncensored UK Version of Witcher; and yes, I live in the USA.I own the UK Version of Witcher -- and would like to keep it Uncensored, if I did an actual upgrade to Witcher: EE.Would buying the US Version of Witcher: Upgrade Box change my already installed uncensored UK copy of The Witcher suddenly into the censored Witcher: Enhanced US Version?Or would I need to find a UK Import of Witcher: Upgrade Box to keep Witcher EE uncensored as the UK version?Or did you guys send Witcher: Enhanced Uncensored over to the ESRB and somehow get that version approved for the USA M-rating this time around?( Please tell me that is a yes! )
If it will be available in Sweden i will definitely buy it.Just to be sure, do you get everyting from the EE exept for the original game for 14,99 euro? And how do my retailer know that i have bought the game?
I don't post a lot but frequently check forum for news.Probably I will download EE but it would be great to use some kind download manager program ( i.e. flashget or download accelerator) to do it.Last time when I downloaded The Witcher through metaboli (shame on you!) and never again PLEASE!!!I have got 8 Mbps speed DSL broadband but I was downloading the game more than 12 hrs with average speed 20 Kbps! :dead:I have never downloaded anything so slow since I have got broadband. SO PLEASE! CAN YOU KICK ME(A)TABOLI OUT OFF THE BUSINESS AND ORGANISE FAST ENOUGH SERVER TO DOWNLOAD THE GAME!
Well the sweet thing about this retail version is clearly the extra content. I've seen the Collector's Edition for about 39 bucks in my local mall and thought about buying it even though I got the regular version already. Now you guys got me hooked... ;DThe patch itself might exceed the 2 GB right? I dunno, but how is CDPR going to put up the d/l ? Via BitTorrent or via their homepage, NetLoad, whatever...? I think this could be important. I'd d/l it via Torrent, anything else is too slow maybe.
What would the cost be in US dollars and more importantly, is it going to be available in US markets, or will I have to have it shipped to me from Poland? I'd love to buy it just to get the short story and other goodies, but not if I have to pay a small fortune to have it shipped here from Europe.
What I would like to do is buy the update disk version from you directly cutting out the middle man so the company would have more funds to create and enhance the games you produce.Just want you guys to get all my hard earned cash and not some retailer/ publisher.I voted probably, dont know the USA cost and dont mind downloading it, but then again I just might want to but it to have a hard copy + if I can buy it directly from you then I say Yes I would buy it.
This is probably not the smartest thing for me to say but if the making of DVD is not going to be available as a download, I would be very interested in this retail package. If the DVD is going to be a download, I would most likely just prefer to download it for free. One caveat: I would buy the retail package no matter what if the map is printed on some sort of material that gives it collectible value such as cotton or even parchment paper. If the map is simply printed onto glossy paper it is nothing more than additional documentation IMHO. Regarding the making of DVD: I've read all sorts of conflicting posts regarding whether or not it will be available for download or if it will be retail exclusive. Can someone make an official statement regarding this?Either way, I'll be a happy camper. The Witcher is one of the best games I have played since I started playing RPGs on my Commodore 64 back in 1983.
Hi! I think this is a good idea and an acceptable compromise for the people who bought the game yet. Personally, I appreciate the opportunity of having the whole stuff on harddisc, but that`s just me .
Absolutely! Of course I'd buy the upgrade pack, even if it meant ordering it through the U.K. again as I did with the original game last November. (Still haven't seen The Witcher in any nearby stores, and I went for a European edition based on rumours that there was less dialogue in the North American version... though I hope that will not be the case with the EE?)
I am confident that I would buy this, unless I decided to buy the retail Enhanced Edition instead. I'm not normally a big fan of special edition extras like "Making of" DVDs and Soundtrack CDs, and I already bought "The Last Wish," but if it's around $20-30 in the US I will most definitely purchase (even though I'll still probably use the download to update) simply for the fact that CDProjekt cares so much about their consumers that they actually have taken all the criticisms from the original game and went back and fixed them! Not to mention you care enough to ask us what we think of this in the first place! So yes, I'll either be buying this or the full EE at retail.
Well let's see:Content of the set :- New game box - don't need it- Patch that turns standard ‘The Witcher’ into the Enhanced Edition - can dl it- Bonus DVD with new adventures and D’jinni editor - can dl- Game manual - got one- Game guide - got two- Remastered ‘Making of The Witcher’ DVD with additional content - not interested- ‘Inspired by The Witcher’ Music CD- Soundtrack CD - already dled- Map of the world - that would be nice- Andrzej Sapkowski’s short story - already bought the book* 14,99 euro is the suggested price for western markets. - too muchNot for me but thx for asking.
gonna buy the "complete" EE anyway, so no need for this upgrade pack.14,99€ is a decent price, yet considering the content maybe 9,99 would be a better choice.
I;'m planning on downloading and buying it so if we here the the US get an upgrade package for around 14 or 20 dollars I would buy that plus the full box set.
CDproject doesn't stop to amuse me everyday! I mean, WOW, guys, this is wonderful! Of course i 'll buy it! Oh, please, make this edition, pleaseeee? :-*
