EDIT: ok, I know, those damned google translator isn't working that good, but the important note is in english:It's from Brysiu, who answered Qlimax about a question of the EE, that was mentioned in a german gaming-magazine (Gamestar):That's what Brysiu wrote back to Qlimax:
Ammount of TWEE stuff to download greatly differs! Registered users will be able to download only the core stuff (which means patch plus obligatory language package) which should be less than 2 GB of data or they can include other language packages (each circa 600 MB) along with additional Behind the scenes movies (in different languages as well), bonus soundtracks and more - which may result in downloading the patch of more than 9 GB! But, as I've mentioned before, it's totally optional. As for the game release, we will announce it very soon, but I can tell you that the date is very close to the one given by Gamestar.
Edit 2: as far as I know, the release date mentioned in "Gamestar" is the 19th of September.

Play have it for 19th September.LinkyMind you, if it really is 5 gigs - or even half that - I'll probably end up buying it. The servers'll be throttled.

ist there a preload time before the EE retailversion hits the shelves, like other publishers intent to do?I might say that would be rather fair for the fanbase who already own a registered copy.

Rarely am I ever both incredibly lucky, and blind as a bat.Explanation :I didn't even know this game existed 'til just last week... shocking, I know, and I'm appalled that I could have missed what appears to be a fantastic game. The "lucky" part is that I appear to have timed my discovery perfectly - just as the uber-super-duper fixed-up, polished, enhanced mega kick-ass version is about to be released! ...and!!! I've only just completed the build of my new PC, which, while not exactly cutting-edge, should be more than enough to enjoy the game in its intended glory.Yeehaa! ;D/cancels Amazon-basketed order standard version in anticipation of enhanced version.

On Censorship:I have the Czech (unscensored) version but live in the USA. When I donwload the EE will that change the "censhorship setting" of the game? Hope there are not any schenanigans based on where you are downloading from.

I believe it works by your installed language version.

I would play the game in English, since it seems that only the English and German voice overs were re recorded. If it means having to put up with censorship though...

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to say. It works as I said by your currently installed version, not by the language you choose after upgrading to the EE.I.e. it looks at your cdkey which is tied to which country its from.

I think there was a confusion at some time, that there are two different censored versions of the Witcher. The Cut of the violence in the german version and the cut of some of the sexual cards in the game for the US Version (not that i need them ^^). I dont remember where this information came from though. So i think his question points to something like "Which version is 100% uncut?".

the german version is identical to the uk one, hence it's not cut.
