Hmm that is an interesting take shinobi.

Quite different than anything else we've seen so far. I really like it.

Would you consider removing the hood? Or maybe you can figure out some other solution to the following issue.

I think her hair could be more of a prominent feature. The hood is kind of narrowing her face a little bit too much I believe.

I'm posting this as feedback, you know that I love and appreciate your work.

I'm posting this as feedback, you know that I love and appreciate your work.

I haven't added the highlights in to her hair yet, so it definitely is lost in the shadows so far. I'll definitely be making it pop more. I'm still not satisfied with the face yet either, so I'll play around with the width of both the face and the hood. I think I will be keeping the hood to differentiate her from Triss more, but making a version without it would be easy enough. Appreciate the feedback!

Hah, I think I can kinda see what you mean. Totally unintentional. Once you get more of the body it should help get away from any kind of steampunk feel.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love it. Do you take commissions?

And it doesn't have anything to do with it being steampunk or not, it's the general style that somehow reminds me of Dishonored. Nothing bad with that, of course.

It's been a long while since I've done a commission, but I certainly wouldn't be opposed to doing one. PM me with what you have in mind (subject, style you want it done in, etc) and I'll see what I can do.

And definitely nothing wrong with that indeed, I love Dishonored's art style, so I take it as a compliment.

Big respect to how you handle lighting with that picture, it looks gorgeous~

What you could improve a bit is the hair, the curls could be a bit "curlier", and it'd help if you set a few highlights
to give them volume and seperate them from the hood they are disappearing into.

I'm just telling you this before @Synvael and @wichat come along and scream: "more curls !".

Kidding, kidding. Back on topic, I'll definitely be using the highlights to get the curls in there and to bring out the hair from the hood. Fear not! It's still in the early stages and I have to make sure wichat and Syn are satisfied.

Thanks! This one is going to be a full colored piece. It's going to take a while with the number of characters, but I'll have updates in time.

I'd say that the make up, brings the character to life. Now I'm a person that pretty much hates make up. But this is.. a masterpiece.

Maybe CDPR's version is kind of lacking that "edge" due to the lack of make up. I don't know.

And of course, the raven black hair. Curly and long. Spot on, I'm so happy I found this.


Can't wait to see what you come up with after this shinobi! Glad I could provide this minor help.

That's actually exactly what I was thinking made this one stand out as well. Given how vain the sorceresses are, I would expect them to use a lot of makeup. Plus something about that smokey look with the eyeshadow and dark red for the lips just scream Yennefer to me as well. The hair is nicely done as well, just the right amount of curls and body.

It's a WIP so I agree with other advice, but the look on her face is sharp as it has to be, I like it!
Of course I can't wait to see the entire piece, let's say you hyped me!

I don't usually post on fanart (mainly because I usually find everything too beautiful to event comment on), but this is AMAZING. It's not just the pure beauty of the character I admire: she's gorgeous, we all, I hope, agree on that. What I really admire is the general feeling, the attitude. On the one hand, she's saying "I can turn you into a purple puddle this instant if you say another word", yet on the other, she looks so... casual. It's as if she were walking through the street, merrily chatting away, and suddenly heard a threat behind her and put on her "I'LL FUCKING GUT YOU" look.

It's just amazing <3
