I actually wanted to go in-depth with the description of what style it reminds me, and yep, Byzantine feel/style is probably the one. I told Hoch on skype already about Roman influence, but it wasn't quite it. Then Ancient Greek too, but still wasn't it. Then Turks, minarets and domes came in mind but still no cigar. Byzantine Empire is the golden slice between all of it (like in history) and what inspired artist most it seems... only thing is, I've always imagined Nilfgaard capital in Holy Roman Empire style, so a bit more further-down-the-timeline architecture, but I would settle for this too as well, awesome.

@Totalimmortal Nilfgaard is more like the Society and Army of Rome (as in Augustus period), the Wealth of the Byzantine Empire (maybe their architecture as well), and the Aesthetics of the Holy Roman Empire.

It's just that people over internet always look for pageviews adn\or likes and sadly, nothing lures more that over-sexualization (of women especially. No one cares of men of course on DeviantArt, tumblr, FB etc )
