Hey, is the design on the bag engraved? If so, where can we get the design to do it? I'd love to engrave the logo on my own merchandise.I can already do it... did it with my name on leather carry-cases. A witcher logo in the center would be real nicegamewidow said:i wanted the bag that came with the russian edition![]()
Yes, of course that's my most wanted Witcher bad as well. They were an unique extraAs far as I can remember these bags don't exist anymore for trade or sell... with the few lucky exceptions of the Russian owners.gamewidow said:i wanted the bag that came with the russian edition![]()
I hear your impatience, and I agree. The very fact that this topic has been going on for a year and nothing has come out makes me wonder what sorts of constraints CDPR is under. Don't forget that The Witcher isn't all original material; it's based on the novels of Andrzej Sapkowski. Because of that, CDPR can't just go off and do whatever they want. CDPR bought the rights to make The Witcher from Sapkowski. Does their contract with Sapkowski also give them the right to make tee shirts, medallions, and other Witcher items available for general sale? I have no idea. Given that we haven't seen any Witcher merchandise, I wouldn't be surprised if their contract with Sapkowski did not give them the right to make and sell this stuff. Most writers have quite idiosyncratic worldviews, and from what I've heard about Sapkowski, he is no exception to this rule. He should be tremendously grateful to CDPR for bringing his work to a wider audience and for doing such a good job on his characters and his world, but I have no idea what his actual attitude is. Sapkowski no longer writes about Geralt or about the Witcher world; he has moved on to other projects and may well be impatient with the focus on Geralt that the game has brought about. The one thing I know for sure about CDPR is that they made The Witcher. The one thing I know for sure about The Witcher is that it was made by clever and creative people. So, if CDPR hasn't come out with any Witcher merchandise, I think they probably have good reasons. I don't know what they are, and the Sapkowski-as-stumbling-block theory may be 100% wrong, but it's an example of the sort of thing that could be happening behind the scenes that fans would be unaware of. Whatever is going on, I imagine that the people at CDPR have reasons for doing what they do.Roxtar said:Ok, was this just a joke topic made just to torture fans? Seriously, it has been over a YEAR since this topic was created and nothing has happened.
It better not be. 1 Medallion is not enough for me... so they better start making more medallions or making more mistakes so people get angry and sell theirs to me.This stock is viewed, bargained for and sold for less than 2 hrs on eBay. Man, it flies fast.I do wonder though, is there any way of directly contacting CDPR representatives to ask them the above-mentioned questions?PetraSilie said:All I want to add: this is not a suspended caseeace:
