Hmm first of all I hope despite all the odds that we get a good european director doing the Witcher. Hollywood needs some serious competition.But then again, I also hope if Hollywood will get to do the movie, they keep in mind that this is a story for adults - and leave the prudish moral crap back at home next to their well hidden porn magazines.A friend of mine told me the american version of the game has been castrated because of the erotic scenes.. lol... My feelings exact. In a series you have time to show more of fantasy world and deepen the characters. The only problem is money. Making a fantasy world believable takes an extremely dedicated crew and lots of special effects expertise. Rome is based very strongly on historical facts about Rome and Roman culture. Creating a setting for a Witcher tv-series would at least take a similar amount of effort.Ausir said:
