The Witcher In Concert - Symphony of The Hunt
First I want to say that CDPR did an absolute amazing job with The Witcher 3. I absolutely love this game, every single bit of it. But what I think is probably one of the very best parts of The Witcher 3 is the music. I know CDPR worked together with the Slavic medieval folk band Percival and I have to say it really worked out, the music in TW3 is absolutely stunning.
Another game franchise I love with all my heart is The Legend of Zelda. Just like The Witcher, one of the stronger points of The Legend of Zelda is the music. Suffice to say I was extremely trilled when I learned that the orchestra that made the music for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword started a world-tour named Zelda in Concert - Symphony of The Goddesses. They basically toured over the world playing the best Zelda soundtracks compiled into proper symphonies assisted with fitting gameplay footage of all Zelda games on a big screen behind the orchestra.
I had the privilege of seeing this orchestra earlier this year in Dusseldorf. Here is a fragment of the amazing orchestra:
Now you probably already guessed where I'm going with this. I would absolutely LOVE to see CDPR doing something similar for The Witcher. It would be SO AMAZING if we could see Percival live assisted by the orchestra that made The Witcher music and hearing the awesome soundtracks from The Witcher played live by them with some fitting footage of all Witcher games on a big screen. I would easily pay up to 80 euro to see such a concert. I would even travel all the way from The Netherlands to Poland to see it if needed. And I would buy all the merchandise available at the concert.
What do you think? Would there be enough interest in The Witcher to realize such a tour? I know The Legend of Zelda is way more popular than The Witcher, but I think The Witcher is also pretty damn popular by now. I think there is definitely an interest in something like this.
