Can we buy TW1 again in the UK with all the new patches added like the 1.5 patch or just the regular game and have to upload all the patches?I have the game but would like to buy again with all patches included on a CD.

You can buy The Enhanced Edition of The Witcher but I believe you'll have to download the latest patch.

there is a new edition of the witcher coming out: platinum edition. it's basically the enhanced edition WITHOUT DRM, including patch 1.5, completely uncensored and having the same goodies as the EE: soundtrack, game guide, manual, making of, all language options, additional adventures. saw it on game/play for 18 pounds.

Thank you for the info.I have the enhanced edition but would be nice to have the game with all the new patches.Let’s hope we can say the same for TW2 in a few years.

Heh, to me a measure of the quality of a game is how long it takes for its retail price to go down. Some games get cheaper within a MONTH of coming out. That the Witcher remain expensive after so many years is proof it is GOOD. Especially considering all the technical problems it had.
