The Witcher on GoG

Why don't they do it? With a few months to go for TW2, it would make sense.

Yes they should release it right away. More people know about the first game - more copies of TW2 sold.

100% agree, I have my copy on amazon cloud, but with my Witcher 2 preorder on GoG, I like having it on the same site. I want to support CDProjekt and GoG because I like their style, so add Witcher 1!

I guess the real question here is, why the hell don't they respond to my eminently sensible requests? :(

I was curious as to why GoG is hosting the second Witcher when it is meant to be a retro site but someone said that it had to do with company affiliations. But if that is the case, the enhanced edition of the first Witcher sells at $10 which is GoG's standard pricing so it would seem that it would just go without saying that they would have the first Witcher available for purchase.

That is what I am waiting for as well. I heard in one interview that they will do it, Soon! Hah! It's coming! This is from the GOG.com Side:The Witcher coming soon! Pre-download the sequel before release! The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director’s Cut, the highly acclaimed RPG by CD Projekt RED, will come to GOG’s storefront with tons of exclusive free goodies on May 10th for a regular price of $9.99--but we're offering a special discount in commemoration of The Witcher 2 coming to GOG.com. The game will be available at a 50% discount from May 10 until May 24, and will cost only $4.99!

I do believe I will pick that up again. So what if I've bought it several times already? Goodies is goodies, and a great game from a great distributor is awesome! :)

I wonder if one can use CD-key from retail version of The Witcher on GOG, like some games allow on Steam or EADM? Game is registered with said CD-key, of course.

What would be the point? GOG just sells a version of the game that you play on your computer; you don't play on its servers or anything.

They should release it now so we have time to do a full play through before Assassins of Kings drops. I tried to reinstall the original game but forgot how friggin buggy it was, can't make it work.

I wanted to buy it this morning just before I had to study, but then I noticed it didnt accept any iDEAL payment system or something similar. So now I have to use paypal since I don't have a creditcard. And now I have to wait 4 working days till I have some money on that paypal account to process the payment. :(I was really hoping to have all those bonus stuff today, and now I have to wait again! But it's my own damn fault, I should have checked the payment options before. :\Edit: nvm the paypal transfer was fast. I got it now.
