...or the Citadel...as in something along the ME3 Citadel DLC ...you know, as in providing proper closure for characters, Geralt, yadda yadda etc bla bla..pam paramToussaint, as we already know...
And after that...Who knows? 'Nowhere' is also a possibility![]()
Never played ME..or the Citadel...as in something along the ME3 Citadel DLC ...you know, as in providing proper closure for characters, Geralt, yadda yadda etc bla bla..pam param
That would be a great idea actually, and it would allow Witchers to be revitalized in their usefulness. Imagine, Nilfgaard, the Northern Kingdoms, or some nation is in the process of colonizing a new continent. There are lots of monsters to be killed (and secrets to be unlocked). You play as a Witcher hired by whoever would be the monarch in charge. It would be a pretty fantastic setting.Or maybe on another continent? In the books there is a hint that the guy in Gors Velen (who walked around with Ciri) is going to discover new continents.
New continents -> a lot of monsters -> a lot of work for witchers.
Lucky you ...to some degree I guessNever played ME![]()
But I wouldn't say no to W3 enhanced edition, with few hours of additional content...
I'd really like to see Nilfgaard proper, that shot in the ending slides looked really cool with the sun arch over the harbor! What about Nilfgaard? it would be an excellent chance to present a new whole culture, provide opportunities for Ciri as a main character and it would give the Devs more liberty regarding the saga given that the novels dont provide much information about the empire.
The games make a terrible job at showing how allegedly monsters are few in numbers in recent times so much so Witchers are "not needed" anymore. That would be a great idea actually, and it would allow Witchers to be revitalized in their usefulness. I mentioned that the prevalence of monsters actually warps the narrative of the Witcher novels. In the novels, Geralt is an anachronism like a Civil War soldier or a samurai after the Warring States period. He no longer has a function in the world but way too many skills. The Witchers are something HORRIBLE from a time which is better left forgotten and no one, the Witchers themselves included, want them back. They live miserable hated lives and it's best for them to pass into history. The games make a terrible job at showing how allegedly monsters are few in numbers in recent times so much so Witchers are "not needed" anymore.
I mean, you cannot walk 50 yards from your house without encountering some sort of man killing beast.
Drowners spawn literally inside villages (White orchard), patrols are massacred inside the world's biggest city by Succubi, the seat of the witchhunters is infested by vampires.
Skellige is downright infested by all sorts of monsters.
Correct, while oddily dialogue negates this (ergo it is kept from the books, in places).I mentioned that the prevalence of monsters actually warps the narrative of the Witcher novels. And the games show them as vitally needed heroes in a world which is desperate for champions against evil.
At the end of Witcher 3 there is a second Conjunction of Spheres so I don't think the amount of monsters is a concern. CDPR can just easily explain the effects of the conjunction in the next game, I felt they purposefully didn't explain it much so they have more creative options in the future.New continents -> a lot of monsters -> a lot of work for witchers.
